Looking for a Swift FX to try
I've been using a Swift II for years either buying pillows once a year when needed or trading with others on here, but I'd like to try the FX. If anyone has one they would like to part with, please contact me to arrange a deal. I'd probably need medium pillows... Also need medium pillows for the Swi...

Re: OT: uncle_Bob, C'Man & other cyclists - New tracking app
Checkout Sleep Cycle alarm clock app. You sleep with your phone next to your pillow and it uses the accelerometer to figure out the best time to wake you up in a 30 min window so you wake feeling refreshed. FYI...I've been using this for a little while now and I can honestly say that I'm feeling mu...

Re: Today
I'd been getting AIs of 0.1 and 0.2 but i notice a big difference with 0 even though i only slept for 5½ hours. I did change my pressure last night. I was titrated at 7cm so the doc recommended setting the lowest pressure to 7cm and highest 12cm. But last night i set the lowest pressure to 6.4 and ...

Re: DME doing periodic checks of machine
I can see the pressure number on my machine and it is still the same and everything feels like it is working the same so I think I will skip the 'check'. Thanks for the input. My machine was showing a range of 7-11, but when it came on it was blowing 13 continuously. The display can be wrong. I rea...

Re: DEM doing periodic checks of machine
Perhaps they are checking the calibration to see if the pressure settings are accurate.

Re: Looking for an oximeter suggestion?
I really wish they made sleep apnea related software for Mac computers. Everything seems to require a Windows computer. I might have to find a cheapie laptop. I know it's important and it'll be worth it, but GRRRR. Just use a virtual machine like Parallels on the mac to run any flavor of windows yo...

S8 data card..can I mod another card to work?
Ya, I know the data cards are cheap, but I'm cheaper.... I have a couple of the Respironics data cards and wondered if anyone has ever cut a full size card down to the size that the Resmed S8 units take? Also...can someone give me the dimensions of the Resmed data card?
Thanks

New S8 Autoset II and questions
So I picked up an S8 Autoset II as my Remstar Auto is getting long in the tooth. I only have a couple nights on the new machine, but the results aren't what I normally saw with the Remstar. My last 6 month's data on the Remstar was an AHI of 5.4 or so and an AI of around 1. The Resmed is showing AHI...

Re: Is there a benefit in using FLEX?
It's the "once they are asleep" that's the problem. A-flex has an anomaly at the end of a reasonably long exhale that drives me crazy. It's a sort of hitch in the pressure, very short lived. But just enough to keep me awake. I noticed that too, but only on the newer M series machines. The older, Re...

S8 USB pinouts?
Has anyone either made an adapter to read the data directly from an S8 or published the pinouts for same? I searched on here and the usual places with no joy.
