I have been on CPAP for 10 days and these folks have been a real help. I too have had great luck woth my therapy. Tonight I will crack the 100 hour mark and I can honestly say that I feel better than I've frlt in YEARS.

I use the Mirage Swift mask with mine and yes, after a few breaths, it cranks up to my pressure of 13. I stopped using the ramp feature ater day 1 so all I have to do is put on my mask, turn on the heat and lay down.

my first pap nap
Today I felt tired when I returned from the gym and decided to lay down for a little while. I put on my Swift, the machine cranked up and I slept for 90 minutes. This thread gave me the idea to try it. Best nap I have had in years. With a RDI of 89.9 I figured a nap w/o PAP is an non-nap.

I had the same experience during me sleep study. The 4 hours on CPAP were the best sleep I had in years. I too craved me CPAP and hated waiting the 3 weeks post SS to get it. Mine is set to 3. Am I correct in assuming that 3 is the number that has the greatest pressure decrease when exhaling?
