My back pains usually subside with a nice hot shower and I am back to light weight lifting which has helped a little, but my chest pains are HUGE! With the tightness in my chest even bending down to pick something up hurts. I am a side sleeper and usually wake up in close to the same position as I f...

The ResScan PC software can retain data read from the card indefinitely, if you want to do that.
How do I do that.... indefinittly

oh, and thank you for your input!

Smart Card / ResScan info required

I took the data off my trial machine before giving it back. It shows a bunch of dates that I can not access or shows "no data" It only shows the last 4 days. 1) How many days of data can that tiny little think hold? 2) After down loading info into the computer, is that data still on the smart card? ...

The setting for humid was "OFF" I changed to to "on" (I think it came up as front loader... or something like that.) Is this OK or should I change it back to the off position?

Got it! Thank You cpap.com again. I needed to know how to get into the "Clinical Menu" to make my adjustments. I wanted to increase the min (now 8.4) and the max. (now 15.6) to see if this will lower my AHI. I almost want to go for a snooze to see if this makes a differance.

Cheers

After talking to a few family members & freinds that have cpap I was told "Don't horse around, just get the FF right off the bat." (advise from a wise old man.... my Dad.) My trial mask was the ResMed Ultra Mirage FF. This gave me the time to look around and I settled on the Quattro. (0.08L/s last n...

Thank you ozij, But am I correct in that leaving apap I do not have to set up any ranges? Once I get my software running then I plan to do a 1 month trial on cpap w/epr and see how that goes. The best part is that my DME (as far as I know) has no idea that I will be handing back my trial machine to ...

Duh, I guess in auto mode their is no adjustment to be made.
However I have the FF Quattro but there is no setting for this in the facemask option. I set it to Mirage Ultra. Is this correct?

S8 Vantage set on auto. This past week I have been using the quottro. Before that was the Ultra. I did not change the mask setting on the apap. I did not know until today that you could view your daily data by holding down the left/right buttons for 3 sec to get your nightly numbers otherwise I woul...
