rain cloud

Don't forget, behind every cloud there's a silver lining. Occasionally the lining has tears but is able to be repaired.

Anyone have homemade recipe for nasal rinse. Am waiting for all natural rinse ordered but really need help now. Unable to take over counter and Rx scripts because of reaction with other meds taken. Greatly appreciate any suggestions.

nights are fine, days are lousy

I have posted previously regarding possible allergies, possible cold, sinus infection. I am totally frustrated to the point where I hate being awake. I have had no difficulty with my treatment. I sleep very well and previous symptoms like waking up with a headache, being more tired when I wake up an...

newbie

At first I found it a little scary because everyone seemed to know each other well and I felt like an outsider. But I soon realized that by asking...

I really appreciate all of your comments and suggestions. As far as cleaning house and bedding I do that anyway. I have been cleaning the hose, pillow and tank daily. I haven't changed the filter so will get that done. I have started using secaris also. The cat is my husband's buddy. If it comes dow...

CPAP and allergies

Every morning, after up for a while, my mouth and nose feels coated inside with a fine hairlike sensation. I will sneeze frequently as well. Yes, I have a cat. Can being on CPAP have affected me in such a way that I am now allergic to our cat of 10years?

emoticons

I also cannot tolerate many scents and have often had to change tables in a restaurant or not be able to go into certain shops. I had hoped that I wouldn't have to leave the chat as it has been so helpful and important to me. But if some people persist in their rudeness, unfortunately I will have to...

the Future

I am 56 and have been on ResMed S8 Elitite since end of Nov. 07. Will I have to eventually graduate to a more sofisticated machine? OR If this sysytem is working will I be able to stay on it? OR may a time come when I won't need a CPAP?

Has anyone recently flown from Canada to the USA with CPAP. Were you asked to present a letter from you doctor?
