Hi there, I can`t give you much about advice on the machine except that I have done homwoerk with the help of this poeple here before I decided which machine to buy ( even though mine was paid by insurance). the dme tried tos ell me what they wanted (resmeed I think) but after reading a lot I decide...

Yes you should...Doctors have to learn we are partners as best not compliers in our health issues...Of course I was recommended first a cpap a but luckily with this site with the research I've done I learned why apap is a better choice whether you will use it in apap or cpap mode...I assume that doc...

customs for cpap in canda
Any of you Canadians who have bought cpap from US did have to pay customs? I want to buy from cpapauction and want to make sure I don;t have any surprises of paying custom, I know that being a medical device should be exempt but want to know for sure...

I am really bothered by the air that gets into my eyes while I am sleeping with my nasal mask. I use a blind under the mask but I am so sensitive that I feel the air right in my eyes. I even have days when I have a blurred visions for hours sometimes ( I assume is from the machine). Any ideas? Shoul...

do the doctor recommends a bipap based on a medical issue like COPD or from the data one gets with a machine? I am reading and reading and come up with new questions. is not bipap very similar with the aflex cpap machine? does bipap more than an aflex? I have an aflex but I need another machine and beacuse I choke ocassionaly I was recommended to look at bipap.tks

is ti normal machine is noisier on fixed pressure? they changed me to a fixed pressure of 9 but I find it pushes too much air on the inhalation and I had a terrible cold with a long dry cough that ended in an asthma attack..it is normal till i get used to it? in the auto the machine was not so noisy...

just when I decided on a flex I am reading all these messages about not being so efficient. cap.com advertised as a better deal... now I am getting confused as I was very close to decide which one to buy...( remstar auto pro...A flex...although now I am on c flex and on a fized pressure)

Congratulations... what is the difference between the two? I am on a pro but wanted to get the best (the price DME wants is the same for both S8 vantage or remstar- 1875$)... I get the same attitude they know best and do not easily give me what I want...It is so annoying but you have to learn to kee...

from what I have read around here it is best to also buy the software...i also understand that there are different softwares for practitioners and I would assume that as a patient you can only buy the patient version...anyway ...what do you advice me...I want to but a respironics apap with A flex......
