I think we got the lawyer bit down pretty good. I just thought others may have similar issues in the workplace. All I really was looking for was if anyone else experienced the euphoria of the first month and then downhill. I thought I remembered some others saying something similar when I joined las...

Sorry, I did go in and update my profile before posting the question but my changes didn't take. Just went back and did it again, looks OK now. I have auto cpap with cflex and a swift mask. I tried Activa first but had too much trouble, no trouble with swift. The software doesn't show me anything I ...

CPAP OK - Results Not
Hello again, I've been on my CPAP for 150 nights. I am having no trouble with my machine, nor my mask, and I sleep all night. In late November on a scale of 1 - 10, I was a 12 and was soaring as high as can be, I felt so good. I was alert, organized, had clear thoughts, etc. Around the end of Decemb...

Good bye and Good luck! I'm moving on.........
Well, I've read enough and I'm walking. I totally disagree with allowing Guests to have this much ability. They, or she, have ruined it and I no longer find I look forward to logging on. I left the other forums because I didn't find them comfortable or useful, they just didn't fit, and I logged on t...

Here in Maine, outages of hours to days are not uncommon. In the great ice storm a few years back we went almost a week. So far, since I started CPAP, 45 nights ago, we have not had an outage. To address this issue and also allow for camping, I purchased a deep cycle battery and can charge from an o...

In my very strong, and not so humble, opinion, guests should not be allowed and they should crawl back in their holes until they see their shadow, which they never will, because they lack the courage of conviction. They need something to hide behind. They defeat the purpose of the forum! I personall...

Ted and R&R, Thanks for the good words! In my NOT so humble opinion - all progress, and everything that is and was good about this treatment, is due ONLY to this forum and its contributors and all the fine folks at BMI and CPAP.com. To say I couldn't have done it without you is indeed an understatem...

A Newbie Update after 32 nights on the machine
My DME is BMI and Bonnie has been grrrrreat in getting me started. She just asked for an update, I thought others might be interested: Hi Bonnie, Thanks for following up on me! The news is mostly good and I think I am making good progress. I just finished 32 nights and all but one I kept the mask o...

cat528, Sure. As a very new newbie, I was trying to say that I was feeling better but not 100% cured of the tiredness and fatigue and I still had to take the Provigil to stay awake at work which is where all my problems started. For only 3 nights on the therapy I was pleased, but recognizing it was ...

C-flex issue (I think!?)
I had my second not-great night in a row last night (took my Provigil at 0715 this AM). These were only 10th and 11th nights, so I'm not doing too bad. I woke this morning with the mask in my hand, the machine off and no recollection of when, why, or how. I seem to recall waking when I turned on my ...

Kemosabe -thanks for the info, good stuff! biggziff - where did you get yours? Brand, etc? Yours sounds a little more portable and I like the solar thing, does it work? severeena - say hi to hubby and tell him THANKS! He is one reason we can do all this info sharing and have freedom of choice amongs...

OK, so I'm not as helpful as I thought. So what you're saying is the HH can ONLY run off 120V house current? The battery I got is a AGM gel cell rated at 32 AH so it should be OK for a full night with HH as passover, correct? I was not aware of the HH limitation as it is an integral part with the ma...

Wow! A kewl thread, but you guys debate the traditional chicken and egg issue. Without one there wouldn't be the other. Without my doctor I would never have known of the disability I suffer nor had access to the equipment. I would have just gone on depressed, tired, and eventually fired and who know...
