Re: How can I tell
Well, I got my new machine. It is a respironics M series model DS500HS. It is an auto with heated humidifier but It does not have A flex, C only. That dosent really bother me. I also had a different resp tech set it up for me than the originals. I am guessing that I intimidated the first bunch and t...

Re: How can I tell: update
Well, get this!!!! Today I call Apria, guess what? Now they say it will be a respironics m series. I am guessing that they are looking for the cheapest thing they can find and the respironics ended up being less expensive for them. So now I am getting all the info I can to arm myself with before I g...

Re: How do you change the pressure on ResMed Auto Set II?
Well, you found the right one to tell you all about the resmed stuff. I too am getting a new Resmed soon and Slinky has already helped me out.

Re: How can I tell
Okay, I have found model numbers from cpap.com. Pictures are not very good, don't show top of the machine so that is no help, even Resmeds site is not very good. Next question is, where are model numbers on the machine so I can confirm these numbers?

Re: How can I tell
I did ask, they were not very forthcoming with info. I dont think they knew for sure either. I asked for more info and they could not tell me. I will see tomorrow what it is. My problem is that all resmed machines look alike. The M series do too, and unless you are armed with model numbers or someth...

How can I tell
I am supposed to be getting a new machine on Sept 9th, so let me give some history of that process. I had the Dr. put on the prescription (actually the nurse) auto-titrating originally. I let the original DME talk me out of that and ended up with something I did not want. I ended up renting that mac...

I bought a second machine on cpap auction and leave it in my locker at the station. The other guys really appreciate me not snoring all night and it makes it really convienent. It was worth the extra pocket money for me not to drag a machine from home. It just depends on your budget and what kind of...

Cushion
In answer to your question on the cushion, there is a 432 ffmask that has a cushion inside of the silicon seal. My understanding is that the cushion and seal for the 432 will not fit the 431 ffmask. I also have the 431 and a couple of things I have discovered might help. For me, the mask needs to se...

History
Thanks to all those that replied, and yes RG, I do have a fascination with this process. It stems from a personal belief that "good enough just isn't good enough when there could be a better". Perhaps a little history might help here. I was diagnosed by accident when I was sent to an ENT for sinus p...

Pillow mask
Hi all, I have been lurking here for some time learning all I could. I have been on cpap for about two months and have had no problems with compliance. I am used to having a mask on my face with some pressure on it (firefighter). I use a full face mask and it is okay, but I would really like to try ...
