I just read the WebMD of both pneumonia and bronchitis. I'd bet a $1 I have bronchitis.

I was figuring a doctor visit was probably in order.

I don't think it's heart failure, I'm 32 years old and I am relatively active (training for a 5k actually).

It could be pneumonia, I guess or maybe bronchitis, but it's odd how it fades during the day.

CPAP and chest congestion

All - hopefully someone can help me out. For the last month I have had horrible chest congestion and a nasty cough on and off. It appears to be worse at night and first thing in the morning (which tracks pretty well with my CPAP usage). Does anyone know of CPAP causing or aggravating such a conditio...

w00t! Kept my mask on all night for the first time but....

I was very excited, the night wasn't perfect -- my big pie-hole of a mouth kept opening up and leaking -- but I expected that. I was so excited, until I looked in the mirror.... I have a new perfectly triangular line of of rash or zits around my nose and over the bridge of my nose -- basically every...

Marty I had just logged in to post my "One week with cpap" thread and I read yours, basically you said everything I feel. It took me a week to get used to the constant pressure -- I don't even bother with the ramping already. However the masks (I have a nasal mask and a full face) annoy the piss out...

Well -- they told me I would have it by the end of the week, this was after all a "special order" (it sounded like it really put them out to put in such a special order) If they don't call me by tomorrow afternoon, I'll be calling them. If they give me the run around -- I will just order from cpap.c...

w00t! I just got off the phone with DME, they are "special ordering" me the M Series Pro. The made sure to tell me that they don't care this machine normally. They promised I'd have it by the end of the end of the week. Thanks again to EVERYONE for your support -- without you guys I would have just ...

Round One with DME

Well, I now understand what you all mean about un- or ill-informed clinics, doctors and DME's. As I mentioned in a previous thread my DME first tried to tell me that my doctor specifically requested the S8 Compact. After I made noise they replaced it with a Remstar Plus, which I have since found out...

Thank you all so much -- round one with DME starts tomorrow.

My tact is going to be this. I asked for a model capable of data collection, specifically leak data. They gave me this model, it doesn't have leak detection functionality and I want to return it.

I've decided to tackle my DME on Monday and try to insist that they give me a better machine. Can anyone explain to me exactly the functionality I'm demanding (so I can demand it)? I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and I let them snowball me on Friday...

I wonder if I can even take it back now that I have accepted it. My insurance company purchased it rather than renting. Who do I take this up with? The DME doesn't seem flexible... The person sent from the medical supplier said the order from my doctor was for a specific model.....I assume that is a...
