Why not try another approach? If you are already looking at $450 + $220 (10%) = $670 and a 420E will cost $698 + shipping here, why not buy it outright and submit the bill to your insurer as an out-of-network provider. Sure you'll get a lower subsidy, usually 20% copay vs. 10% for the preferred vend...

In keeping with the simple solution, a small .5 or .375L water bottle with a sport top will make an ideal filler and a perminant marker mark on the bottle will establish an easy to see refill level.

Not to pile on...but I cant resist when they deserve it.

Apria is also the preferred DME for United Healthcare in some areas. The first and only time that I contacted them I had to research and provide manufaturers' part numbers to get mask parts. Service like that I don't need!
