Re: Newbie needs some advice/comments

Hi SleepyGeorge,

I use to freak out when I had the mask on and the air start flowing. What I found is that if I started to exhale thru the nose when I sensed air flow, it wasn't so bad. Just a thought. Hang in there.

Re: Going backwards

[quote="Sleepless on LI"]I recently had switched gears from straight cpap to auto to see how things would go. I blamed slightly higher AHI's and feeling tired to that fact and just figured straight cpap worked best for me. Hi Sleepless, Thanks for your response about large leaks. I'm still thinking ...

Hi fnorette,

My snoring use to rock the house. My wife is happy to deal with a little sound of air. Maybe it reminds her of the outdoors camping

Lg leak: 306 min "Large leak" reflects a condition for which your machine may not properly compensate. Even though your data appears good at first glance, that 306 minutes of "large leak" is actually 306 minutes of potentially skewed data and therefore 306 minutes of potentially skewed treatment! H...

Here's a good site on Battery Tutorial http://batterystuff.com/tutorial_battery.html?PHPSESSID=0f11293c59d12acc4f126ef67b5bd1e1#4. You may also want to consider getting a solor panal for charging the battery. They're fairly small and some come with overcharging protection. Check this site http://www...

Remstar Auto Interpreting results

Hi again,

Can someone please help me understand why having a low leak rate is important if treatment looks ok. I keep reading that one should try to achieve a low rate, but haven't read why. See my last post.

Thanks in advance,

Remstar Auto Interpreting results

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, but have been reading it for the past month with great interest. I'm also interested in the Leak readings I get with Encore pro software. My questions are - How important is it to obtain a zero or low large leak reading? What about leaks in general? Can you obtain ...
