Frank - I had this trouble last month when I loaded ResScan. It turns out that I have to put the smart card upside down into the reader (took me 60 minutes to figure that out). The gold contacts should be up - the opposite side up from the way the CPAP machine uses it. With that figure out - things ...

The break-even point on a Swift II / Breath Right Strips

They did in fact help. Sadly, at least once a week I would lose some skin to them when removing them in the morn...

John, You have a couple of different questions here. As to noise level, both the CPAP machine and mask make some noise. If you would update your preferences to show the machine and mask you use, that would help so we can gauge the current level of noise you and your wife are hearing. At to irritiati...

I am reading the 'S...

Thanks to all who kindly responded.

So far, it appears that:

1) xPAP does not seem to make asthma worse (which is good) and
2) in some cases seems to help a little.

This matches my own limitied observations so far. Cool.

Question for other xPAP users with Asthma, and a ‘Hello’

Greetings all! I have made it through my first week of APAP use. Nights have progressed from the first night of ‘no matter what I do this mask really hurts’ to the last few nights where the mask is only a minor annoyance. My path to getting an APAP was (based on reading other posts) pretty typical. ...
