Re: THE GREAT PILLOW EXCHANGE

Hi Everyone, I just got a new mask this week, the Mirage Swift LT for Her. I love it! I use the medium pillow and would like to trade my brand new, unused, unopened XS and Small pillows. I have a nonsmoking home. Please IM me if willing to trade. I live in the States, east coast.

Re: THE GREAT PILLOW EXCHANGE

I was going to post that I have 2 new, unused Swift II small pillows...but seems we have an excess of them. I will trade for medium Swift II, but I'm doubtful that will happen.

Mirage Swift II pillow exchange?

I have a new size Small nasal pillow for trade on a size Med, if anyone is interested. I just rec'd a new mask 2wks ago, I only use the Medium but it comes with all 3 sizes. Given the price for replacement pillows, I am hoping someone also using this mask will trade with me. My home is a non-smoking...

I paid close attention last night and my Swift II makes zero noise. The only noise I hear is myself breathing and the swish from the machine 2ft away. Maybe there is a batch that is defective?

Here's something that worked for me. For many years I was carried on my dh's insurance even tho I had insurance available to me at my part time job. For 2008, I took insurance thru MY job, not his and this allowed me to get all new cpap equipment as I was treated like a new patient. Even tho I was B...

I used the swift I and now use the swift II, much quieter with the II, IMO. It hardly makes noise at all. As for leaks and whistling, use some saline gel around your nostrils, it will help form a better seal. Also, do not pull your straps too tight. ETA: glh, I have 2 brand new, never used pillows f...

Add me to the list of those who take Benedryl or its storebrand counterpart almost every night, since starting cpap Jan 06. I take 2 tablets, my dr told me taking 2 was right for my size. Sometimes I take Advil PM (Advil with diphenhydramine added) if I hurt from arthritis and work. I asked my dr an...

I use a Swift II also. I'm a side sleeper and it works well for me. It shouldn't be noisy. I have the same machine and the only noise I hear is a soft shush. My mask itself makes no noise. One thing I've noticed is that if the nasal pillow gets dislodged, there will be a rushing air sound, kinda lou...

While I would rather not need CPAP therapy, I must say that I am very happy with my CPAP. Not sure if I love it, but I certainly do appreciate it and recognize how it helps me. I've had CPAP for 2y and 3mo. Took me a good 3-4mo to become comfortable with it. I really don't have any issues, its comfo...

I've had it since I was pregnant with my last son, started 15yrs ago. Back then I started on Zantac rx, then Prilosec came out by rx. I still take Prilosec, it makes my GERD seem completely gone. I take one Prilosec daily, I buy it OTC now.

Drinking milk helps me alot if I forget a pill.

PurSleep is good stuff. I love Clear, its very pepperminty, but I think has vanilla in it to soften it just a bit. I really can't sleep without that scent now, its like my brain associates that with sleeping. I also have the Snuggle Hose cover and can't believe I went 2yrs without one. It makes the ...

It took me about 3wks to acclimate to the therapy. In that time, I became used to the mask (I wear a nasal pillow system) used to the air pressure going in and I adjusted how I position myself in bed a little differently. In the beginning I needed the ramp feature on my CPAP. I no longer use that. T...

You are in the right place for help, if you need any. Also, do expect to need a few days or even a week or more to acclimate to the therapy. I remember thinking it would be a cakewalk my first night. It took me about a month to get comfortable with CPAP. Now, I actually love going to bed/sleep and h...
