Re: How do ABAP machine calculate AI and HI after a night?
Hello to all, I finally had the opportunity to test a Resmed S9 Autoset for a month. The result is Ok, in term of the way I feel, not great. This a view comparing the values I got (Kaerys 1, 2 and 3 are the same machines type, same settings - All machines have the same settings Low = 8, high = 16) P...

Re: Rescan 3.10 - Detaiiled data but no statistic /synthesis!!!
Hello to all,
After opening and playing a little bit with the "Graph Information Panel", I finally saw the statitics and summary data.
So it looks as fixed, but don't know exactly why...
Will let you know if it is not.
Regards,
Pierre

Re: How do ABAP machine calculate AI and HI after a night?
Hello, I thank you for your feedbacks. Will try to answer most of the questions. The Kaerys is a french brand, but their website has disappeared which is never a good sign. The clinician menu allows to set up only : -the Mode (CPAP, CPAP with bump, ABAP, ABAP with Bump) -The Pressure Min the machine...

How do ABAP machine calculate AI and HI after a night?
Hello to all, Because of power outlet issues, my former machine (a Kaerys) has been replaced by a new one, same model, same set up (ABAP, with bump, Pressure 8 - 15). Because of what I explain below, I has this new Kaerys replaced again by a third one. But Second and Third Kaerys show the exact same...

Which Rescan version for S9?
Hello to all,
I will get next Friday a S9 machine. Some time ago, I had a S8, for which I used Rescan version3.3 to monitor.
Could someone tell me which version of the Rescan software is required for the S9?
Could someone MP me how to get this version?
Thanks
Pierre

From Resmed to Kaerys
Hello to all, A long time since I have posted on this web site. Just wanted to share with you my CPAP experience. In November 2007, I have started to use a Resmed machine S8. In the first months, I felt some improvements, but not so much. I was able to spend the whole night with the mask though. I s...

Ostheopathy and Sleep Apnea
Hello to all, This is a post I wanted to initiate for a long time. By coincidence, at the same time my apneas problem was discovered, I had an appointment with a doctor of Osteopathy. While acting on me, she asked about my sleep quality (which I did not mention upfront). Since my apnea was discovere...

Hello Moby, hello to all, I read that you see that your resmed machines are reacting with perssure, even with ranges set with a minimum presssure at 12 (or let's say above 10). I also read that Resmed machine do not react to apenae when pressure is above 10. In my case, and for all my nights, what h...

Hello, I still have the same question, triggered by one bad night without any reason I can see. Last night, I went up to an AI of 2.9, and the pressure remained stable around 11.5, event when the events were very dense. Maybe it is normal, if the machine adapts based on a long period and does not re...

Hello, Right : I had no mask at the hopital, so for sure, no titration. The technician looked at the data when he came to my place, even in details. That is where I saw that most of my remaining apnea where longer than 30 seconds. But based on this, he didn't change anything to the low pressure, whi...

Hello to all, Up to now, no way for me to get the remaining apneas durations, since I am only using getting the results thru the Resmed CPAP small screen and not using the Resmed software. Though, I am convinced that the apnea duration is an important indicator, and I know (from the night of monitor...

Remaining Apenas with Resmed Elite S8
Hello to all, I hope you all had wonderful Christmas with families. I have been applying your advises of increasing the low pressure from 4 (where the technician left it) to 8, and removing the ramp, for one week now. I also tried to apply Track advises to sleep on side, but I am not sure I really a...
