I'd be MORE than happy to work out a swap with any of you on Pillows. I use large exclusively and have my medium and small pillows to trade - (they are unused) - I've already posted on Mask Roulette with no result. Just PM me and we can work out the details. The price on those replacement pillows ca...

Hmm, I use the Opus as well, and have been for about the same time frame. If your nares are that sore, you should try the AYR Nasal Gel on them to help at night, and some sort of ointment - like Neosporin or a Vit E Ointment to ease the skin irritation and help prevent infection. I doubt its a press...

Nobody has an opinion about a machine that you dont give any details about. Best of luck until you can provide some specific information.

Please do and I am certain you'll get plenty of ideas and suggestions.

A New Milestone Reached

Just got back from the Sleep Center and downloaded my data off my card there - my reader hasn't arrived yet from HongKong - and last night I reached a milestone! I recorded an AHI index of 1.0. My best by far to date (albeit, I haven't been doing this that long). But last night was easily my best. H...

If you are looking at nasal pillow masks, don't overlook the Opus 360. Its the only mask I've used, but I've been in this arena for just over a month. Thats alot different than you for certain. I use a pressure of 16 and once adjusted correctly is pretty darn stable, haven't had much of any leak iss...

Yes there definitely is a difference in the noise on exhalation. It doesn't bother me at all however. My wife has needed "white noise" for sleeping since forever and has the fan on high all night. So the noise is insignificant to me. But I do see how someone used to a completely quiet setting could ...

IF you raise your pressure, I wouldn't take it to 10, but rather to 9 and then see what the results are. You'd be surprised how you are able to adapt pressure-wise over time.

It is nice to know you can count on some things.

Thanks, tomjax.

O, I have zero knowledge of a study showing that AHI of 5 is significant in any way over say, an AHI of 6. I think you are SPOT ON that an AHI of 5 is a financial consideration rather than one of health and well-being. Insurance companies pick arbitrary numbers not out of concern for our best intere...
