Re: Nonin nVISION

Hi, the software can be puchased from Turner Medical. http://www.turnermedical.com/Nonin_nVision_Oximetry_Software.htm I know it's a bit expensive but all of this kind of stuff is. As for the data cable, might be hard to find. It's a rs232 (serial) data cable. Turner sells the Nonin 7500 which I've ...

You might try adding a secondary filter to your hose. I use these https://www.cpap.com/productpage/In-line-outlet-filter-cpap-bipap.html also available in multiple packs. Shop on eBay too for lower prices on this. They say it's for bacteria and viral filtering. They help me by filtering pollens and ...

Has Anyone attempted using Pap-Cap with OptiLife Mask

Not just using it but "converting" as in removing the headgear and attaching it directly to the Pap-Cap?

I haven't sat down long enough to give it any deep thought. But it should be able to be done I think.

Just curious if anyone has successfully performed this surgery.

Install/refresh right over top of the existing Encore installation. Make sure you use the defaults and don't create a new database. This usually works for misc. glitches related to the database association issues.

Yep, they're not the only ones either.

Went to Red Lobster, no tomatoes on the salad last week. No tomatoes at Skyway Drive In today either. It's wide spread, not going away anytime soon it looks.

By the way, Red Lobster did not give me a discount in lue of the missing tomatoes. dang it!

I have had my upper and lower dentures for several years now. (one of my better decisions in my health, CPAP being at the top of the list) Getting used to dentures takes a long time. If you recently had this done say within the last couple months then you have a lot of adjusting to do and then on to...

Yes, it is very refreshing to hear the "other side" comments. Thanks KansasRT. I did make sure my DME knows that I am an informed person and one who researches before I jumping in with both feet. She did repsond with that in the future she'll call me and bounce a few things around for discussion. Fo...

My DME called today, shook her up a bit

Interesting telephone conversation this afternoon with my DME. She asked all the typical questions they're required to for a 6 month patient check. How's your progress..."pretty good I said, lost 20 lbs in 6 months, doc took me off my blood pressure med, I have enough engergy to ride my bike for 10-...

My top pressure is at 15 and I set my F&P150 to 2.5 -3 usually and I live in Northern Ohio. If I set lower I will have problems with nasal congestion. Sometimes the setting of 3 seems to be a bit hot to breathe but I get used to it and usually feel better and with minimal congestion.

Not a bad night with this "upgrade". Actually slept pretty well with only an occasinal leak. I haven't checked my stats in Encore Pro yet. As the name implies, it is a comfortable design and I think with a few adjustments I'll be a happy CPAPper. I am using the large size and might try a medium to s...

My order was delivered earlier today. I'll be trying them out here in about 30 minutes. The trial fit seemed more comfortable but I'm concerned about leaks as it's almost too comfortable. lol well we'll see

cheers!

Progress better than expected!

Just had a checkup this week and my blood pressure has gone down to "normal"! I had been only taking 1/2 of my BP med lately anyway as I was getting dizzy with my blood pressure being at or below 100/60+. Before I started on BP medicine I had readings above 145/90 or higher. Anyway the doctor said t...
