Re: Resmed Airfit F10 vs Resmed Quattro FX

Thank you Chunkyfrog. So from what you and Pugsy are saying there would be no inherent reason that the more expensive mask (and by following your logic backwards -- the newer mask) would of necessity be better than the older, less expensive one. But why design something new if you're not going to ma...

Resmed Airfit F10 vs Resmed Quattro FX

Greetings, I've been using the Quattro Mirage and it does a pretty good job. I just wake up every morning looking like I was branded on the forehead from the forehead support. It isn't that comfortable. So these two masks both get good marks from those who tried them. One is vastly cheaper than the ...

Not good enough at all, in my book.

O.
Alas, you're correct.

Re: Swiss Invention

I was looking for videos for this and stumbled across another procedure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFirzmiMfaw&feature=related Looks like a hook in the back of your tongue. Wait til the vid gets to about 1:18. Wish I understood it. This is very interesting! I was able to understand around 80%...

Re: Swiss Invention

You might be right at that. I'm not much of an OSA expert. I just plug myself in at night and hit the button. It works. I did, however, ask myself the same question. I guess if it's your tongue collapsing and causing the obstruction, you're still screwed. But that's just a very uneducated guess. I w...

Re: Swiss Invention

Yes, if you look at the web site there are little flags somewhere at the top right, I believe. Those are the countries where it is available, including in Switzerland in nearly all the major cities. The device has been approved by Swiss Medic which is an official agency for the approval of medical d...

Swiss Invention

Greetings all I have been around this forum actively or lurking for well over five years. Many will know me. I live in Switzerland and thus was informed by my wife today that a new method was described in a Swiss TV broadcast yesterday evening. I located the website this morning and checked it out. ...

Hello Dream Diver

I tried doing what you suggested and if I actually understood you correctly it didn't work. I copied the link into a new browser window and manually changed the 3.13 to 3.12 and hit enter. The browser reported that no such page exists.

Perhaps you did it differently?

Okay. Well I've got that cleared up. Now all I need to do is find out why I can't run it.

Re: Resview 3.x (reposted from Uncle Bob's thread)

Okay. I'm confused now. I realized I titled this thread as Resview 3.x when I guess it should have been Resscan 3.x. Anyway, there does seem to be a Version of Resscan 3.7 out there and here is a thread from this forum discussing it: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t36911/Resscan-37.html As far as...

Re: My teeth are movin', man!

My nose also tends to close up at night. What you need to keep in mind is that there are different nasal interfaces offered by the various mask providers. The one that I cannot use is the "simple" interface of the mask going over the nose because the pressure caused by the air and the mask close the...

Re: Resview 3.x (reposted from Uncle Bob's thread)

Yes Resscan 3.13. If you read my original posting you will see that I downloaded Resscan 3.13 a few days ago. I'm in fact looking for help with Resscan 3.13. I'm also curious to know if anyone knows where the latest version can be obtained.
