ComfortGel 2 Hose Disconnect
Hello, I have been using a ComfortGel 2 the past month or so (replacing a Mirage Quattro Full-Face Mask which I have a permanent scar on my nose from using) with great results. However, one thing that I don't like about the mask is that there is no quick disconnect from the hose. What advice or expe...

I've been using the Quattro myself since early December, and in my opinion the mask is about two steps away from usable, and one step away from engineering disaster. Honestly, I don't think they built the thing correctly or just didn't bother finishing the job to get something out on the market. I h...

I use both the Quattro and the Comfort Gel. The Quattro is definitely "harder" on my nose, although I don't have nearly the problems as others. The comfortGel works fine as far as sealing and just overall comfort. My problem with that (and any nasal mask) is mouth leaking/breathing, which when you ...

From Quattro to ???
I have been using a Mirage Quattro full-face mask for the past three months, and while I have slept better than ever I have had severe problems with my nose bridge. I have tried every type of padding for this area from silicone ear plugs, moleskin, cotton, spongy tape, callous covers, and the PadACh...

It seems like the moleskin would cause leaks, no? The moleskin is actually a great solution and it doesn't leak if you do it right. I fold up a piece of moleskin over itself (big enough to cover the affected area of my nose), then put a piece of cloth tape over it. It will leak if you make the tape...

I have to second the moleskin idea, that's really the way to go. I also have a Quattro mask, and have had it for about 2+ months now. Unfortunately I do have to report that the majority of that time including the present day I have spent with a very sore, red nose. I have used BandAids (which leak t...

Someone called or e-mailed Resmed about the elbow leak problem and was told by Resmed that it was a known defect in some Quattros and that they should return it to their local DME for replacement of the defective elbow. Personally, I've got more faith in the Teflon tape doing a better job of fixing...
