Hi again, First of all thanks for all the info FF, Ufo, CQ, R&R, and Margaret, and everyone else that wrote. Lots of helpful info. My nose was sore from higher up, not the pillows. Too much air I guess with the pillows. But will try again when I get home. (with larger pillows!!!) Throat is sore agai...

I did the first couple of nights but then tried the medium since I remembered others using the med and larger ones. Why should that ...

Hi again! I tried the humidifier last night for my dry nose problem (healing up to try the Breeze again). I am still not sure I am doing it right. I just pushed the Heat button on the machine (after putting water in it !) I can't set this machine manually since the Tech has it set on 6. I noticed FF...

How do you set the humidifier to a certain number?
Thanks FF for your quick reply again! I thought the first 2 nights I was humidifying because I had put water in it but realized it wasnt on. That is because I need more info. Where do you set the #3 etc. for humidifier? I am in Fla where it is humid too, but nose is in need of something! Thanks ever...

Brea here again with more questions regarding masks, gel, et
Hi friends, I did get the Swift nasal pillows and was excited to be able to see while trying to breath! Seemed to be doing fine until nose bloody. I had advice to try KY Gel or similar and did it on first night. But my poor nose was very sensitive air I guess. Would using humidifier help or hurt mor...

Hi to all my cpap friends! Thanks for the help and kindness from others that have been down this road! I used the Swift nasal mask last night with my new machine. I slept good (but that was never a problem!) but this mask is louder than the other one and took a few minutes to get over the surprise o...

Thanks for the advice. I will take it and try to just relax with it. I guess I'll know more in a couple of weeks when I finally talk to the sleep Dr. about my last test results. It just seems weird to me that I could have this. If I see a difference it will be worth it but still hard to believe so m...

Any tips? First night w/ Remstar Auto C-Flex and Swift Nasal
Hi to all! I just got a new mask (Swift nasal thing). Any tips for first night?? I see where some of you think to lube nostrils is beneficial. Should I just try it first and then adjust accordingly. Just don't want sore nose tomorrow! I also told my Tech I hated not knowing what ( if anything) I was...

Grab, I actually slept good last night with my mask on! However I did wake up this morning with red area around nose. Guess it was too tight. You said that you set your machine higher . How? Mine is set on 6 and doesn't move. I guess Dr must have done that somehow. Who knows? Anyway I probably will ...

Jan, I really don't know what is considered "normal procedure" with this. I don't have the equipment either to tell if my #6 setting is okay or what. Guess I'll just try to hang in there. I think my Tech was supposed to call me in a week or so. I did okay the first 3 nights but last night I couldnt ...

Thanks for quick reply. Yes, I did have a sleep study. In fact I had 2 that were different. The first said I had OSA and the second said I did not. The next 3rd time was with the cpap machine and I havent gotten or heard about the report yet. (I have called for a copy as I do have the first 2.) The ...

Am I the only new c-papper who's Dr said "Try machine f
one month and come back and we'll see how you are feeling then?" I had no idea there was any way to read results etc. The Tech who brought machine to my home mentioned it. I had no idea patient could actually check on it at home! So I guess I won't know until I go back if I should be at higher # or ...
