For my Quattro FF I am on my inital setting of 8, but my leak rate is around 52. I have seen on here that some say who cares what the leak rate is as long as your AHI is under 5. I used the comfort gel for awhile, and yes, it is normal. The vent is there to so CO2 can be released, thus not building up in the mask. The leaking out of this vent is figured in the leak rates for each individual mask, which can be found on this site. Hope that helps!

How Do I stop Mouth Leaks (and drooling)?

I have gone from swift II to comfort gel and now I am on the F& P 407.....I have found them increasingly comfortable, but i still have a big problem.....my leak rate is still high, and I dont feel rested. Low Sleep Number + Mask = I need help

So I am a side sleeper, and sleep at a 35 on my sleep number bed. This causes me to need a very low fluffy pillow for my neck, which tends to push up against my face a bit.
