Mine was completely off...

BiPAP prescribed: 7-17
After having my BiPAP in auto titration: 16-22

I actually tried 7-17 and got a nice 39 AHI!!

Then again my sleep study was awful, I only slept 2h30. But all I wanted was the prescription.

There's also a little substance called high fructose/corn syrup that is use literally in every food you buy in the US. It's been banned in Canada and other countries in Europe and Australia. The main effect of high fructose/corn syrup is disruption of the satiety sensation, therefore making your bra...

OSA is way better than CPAP anyday. I mean, who wouldn't want to wake up at noon, feeling like they have a hangover and having to quit their job because of fatigue. The small side effects of OSA aside (well you know, strokes and heart attacks or failure, I mean no big deal), it's great because you h...

Here in Canada, that's actually the first test I was given to determine if I had sleep apnea. I'm surprised to see that it's not given more in the US. I really though it was standard procedure. Heck, I prefer this to any sleep study unless they put me in a hotel suite and no I'm not even kidding. My...

I know that every M series has a brick, hence why the device itself is so small but brick wise, I've seen a lot worse. It's about 5x3x2 without the humidifier hook on.

I bought my reader from two-factors.com . At around $32 shipping included, it's pretty tough to beat.

XP but what I do is really a print screen paste onto a sheet in Photoshop, then I resize it but for an acceptable size to be posted, it becomes unreadable. Unless I would start using thumbnails in this posts with bigger graphics on Imageshack.

Sorry for the lack of info. Right now I'm running in BiPAP, no auto IPAP is 21 right now (it was my 90%) EPAP is 17 My old CPAP pressure was 17 but still couldn't get a reading below 5 even when raising it up to 18 and 19 (since my OSA was too high) One of the problem is that my scores are all over ...

Need help: AHI all over the place no matter what.

Ok, I haven't been around a lot but I'm really starting to get sick of my treatment. I just can't get my AHI to drop below 5. My best night, so far, was a 4.2 but since I've switch to a BiPAP Auto, it's been worse in terms of overall energy. For example, this morning, I woke up at 8am but was so tir...

Why taking your treatment into your own hands is important..

I got my BiPAP Auto last week and from the get go, I started it on Auto to established a good pressure setting. However, last night, I try a little experience and set it up at my prescribed pressure of 7-17... I had an awful night, so this morning I took a look at the results: 38.4 AHI!! But thanks ...

My PS was set at 3 by default. I just changed it to 8 as I think it's one of the major cause of many of my problems.

Sorry for freaking out so quickly, I'll do a couple of nights and then see.

The min/max is 7-20. My prescription was for a BiPAP 7-17 but with the CPAP results I've been getting the last month and a half I'm pretty sure 17 isn't enough so I upped it to 20.

I cannot say if you have to worry or not but maybe my example will help... My worse AHI episodes are when I'm awake!! Every time I look at my results in Encore Pro, I see a lot of OSA before I'm even asleep!! Doesn't really make sense now does it? But I found the explanation, when I'm going to sleep...
