Want help on Getting Software Please

Hello! I use a ResMed Elite S8 with Humidaire. I've been using it for about 2 years now and would like to begin to use and understand the software available for me to read my sleep results. Can you help me on where I should start? Do I buy software? Is software all I need? How do I learn to interpre...

Re: CPAP & Roseaca

Thanks! If the doc thinks it has anything to do with the CPAP (although I bet he'll say it doesn't), I'll be sure to post it. Thanks again!

Re: CPAP & Roseaca

Thanks, Joyce. I guess I wasn't clear in my post. I had Roseaca before CPAP and just the last month or so I noticed it's getting worse. I do have cream, metronidazole, but can't use it at night because of the full face mask, so only use it in the a.m. Thankfully, this is not the worst thing in the w...

CPAP & Roseaca

I've been using my CPAP equipment since January, 2008 and I'm now experiencing a new problem. I have roseaca and it seems to be getting worse. I'm wondering if the CPAP has anything to do with it? I'm doing nothing different; i.e., no new meds, no new vitamins, no change in diet, blood pressure is f...

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm new to this whole CPAP experience and this website is truly a Godsend. I didn't receive any info other than to put the mask on, turn the machine on, and see the doc at the end of the month. In another forum I sent a message regarding the fact that it feels as thou...

Thanks for all the input. I don't want to tick the doc off either but I know some of my other docs like the fact that you become an informed patient. I tried to talk to the doc but the front office just won't put me through. In fact, they told me to wait until I see him for a change in the pressure....

Wulfman, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I've printed out everything and will try to change the settings tomorrow and also get readings. If you think 8 would make you starved for air, I wonder why they set it at that for me. During my sleep study, they said I stopped breathing 37 times an hour and ...

Thanks or replying. No, I have the ramp feature turned off. I also have the EPR turned to 1. When I do wake up to go to the washroom, I don't shut the machine off. I don't know if that's good or bad. The air coming out of the mask when I'm not wearing it seems very good, but as soon as I have it on,...

I posted this awhile back, and now I've added machine, headgear and humidifier. Thanks for any help -- I really need it. Hi, I'm new to the CPAP discussion group. I received my machine about 3 weeks ago and I think I'm doing well. I've been able to keep in on for at least 4 hours a night, and one ni...

New user with questions

Hi, I'm new to the CPAP discussion group. I received my machine about 3 weeks ago and I think I'm doing well. I've been able to keep in on for at least 4 hours a night, and one night, the entire night. The last couple of nights it seems as though I'm not getting enough air so I end up taking the mas...
