I take it that Respironics has not released any new firmware for their M-series machiens lately? If they did, would their be a way for end-users to upgrade the firmware, or would you have to send it in?

I'd be interested in the results of this challenge as I will be looking for a full face mask in the near future so I don't have to tape all the time with my nasal pillows. Keep up the good work, CPAP.com. I look forward to taking you up on a challenge some day. I love how you include us, the users, ...

I use orange Gatorade in my M series. It has stained my tank slightly and I get an orange colored crust after a week or so of using it, but the benefits are better than the cleaning drawbacks. I find that using Gatorade instead of water reduces my thirst level during the day thanks to inhaling the m...

They should have just used a blacklight. Everyone knows white cats show up under a blacklight. I'm just sorry they wasted all that time without asking me. Sigh.

That's ok, Snoredog. As a fellow dog lover, I got the joke. It was just ill-timed. You did not know that someone would follow you after losing their pet recently.

Sorry about your cat.

Rested would be correct. In Auto mode, you get to choose C or A flexes. In CPAP mode, you can only choose the C-flex.

I personally enjoy the auto mode with C-flex.

WOW,

I just got my reader from Hong Kong today. I was looking at the package and the amount of postage that is on it. There are four postage stamps.

First - $13
Second - $20
Third - $5
Fourth - $0.10

I hope that is in Yen or something. IF that is US dollars, they are losing money BIG time!!!

Yeah, a computer grade UPS is a good idea. A decent one can be had for between $100 - $200. You want something a little larger than the power surge strip sized ups. I know Staples sells a brand called Cyberpower and they have a vertical unit that has a blue LCD display to match those M-series Respir...

One of you could go get a job at CNN and work you way up to her news editor and make her do a story on Sleep Apnea which would include a sleep study as part of the research. THEN, once she "is" diagnosed, we will make her deal with some of our evil DMEs.

If your wife can sew, cut the headgear on the cheekstraps toward the top (like where your hairline meets your face kinda top, to prevent weird strap marks) and sew in two short pieces of elastic. Should help you be able to adjust the headgear higher up on your head and still maintain pressure on you...
