I have a RemStarPro M Series machine, and I use a Swift Lt w/nasal pillows. I have been using this combination for a couple of years. My machine has a smart card, and until the last couple of months, my AHI readings were usually in the 3 area. Now that has climbed to 7 day avg AHI 9.2 and the 30 day...

dreams
I have heard two different views about dreaming and rem sleep. Some say that dreams that are very vivid after awaking means you have been in rem sleep, while others say just the opposite. Is there anybody out there that KNOWS about the kind of sleep a person is in that dreams and remembers them?

I have been a hosenose now for about 3 years. I started out with a nasal mask, then went to a FF because of mouth breathing. I was under the impression that people with OSA should never take a sleeping aid. Have I been mis-led?? My trouble is not falling asleep, but staying asleep. If I retire at 11, I am asleep by 11:05, but I will awaken probably at 4:30 or so, and from then until I finally get up, I will fall asleep, ...

I have had my nasal (mirage) mask on every minute of every night except when it leaked to the point of frustration and I pulled it off and threw it on the floor! I am an attendant chauffeur part-time and I have to take at least a 15 minute power nap to be able to drive safely. I don't hook up for th...
