Re: Homemade Hose Stand by Craig

(Sorry, I thought I was logged in with the original post).

I just built a Copper stand out of scrap tubing, T's, caps and 90° elbows (3/4" stock). Total investment - $1.20. (Glad I didn't through it out!)

I seem to be using the Distilled water at a very miserly rate (only used 3 qts since a week a go last Saturday) so at only 68¢ a gallon I guess I can afford it!

Can't comment on the diet portion of your question, but I start cycling (bicycle) in the spring and ride through early November and my sleep patterns seem to become much more stable. (I sleep more soundly, and do not wake up during the night as I do during my non-active period of the year.

I'd begun using a gallon of distilled water from the start (since I received the CPAP unit on Sat.) and it really uses so little that I think I simply will continue down that path. (This sucker really is quiet!) I asked my wife if she appreciated how much quieter the new Fisher & Paykel 604 unit is ...

The machine came with 3 water chambers so I am in good shape their I think. I like the Idea of rinsing the humidifier chamber with white vinegar though and will be doing that. (Thanks for the tip billbolton).

Type of water used in fisher paykel HC604 CPAP machine?

I just came home with a new fisher paykel thermosmart HC604 CPAP machine. The instructions say to use only distilled water in the unit. I would like to know if anyone has used tap water in their unit, and what effect it may have had on it. Any problems, etc? (I had been using a Resmed unit for appro...
