Hey, all you ComfortGel nasal masks users out there!

Hello Everybody, Well, I've had a pretty amazing start to my therapy over the last three weeks. My quality of sleep has clearly improved, but I'm still dialing in the mask.... I REALLY like my nasaI mask, but I've had trouble with rainout (bought the Auusie hose to help) as well as tenderness on the...

What is a 'good' LPM range?

Hello!

So, I'm trying to get use to all this new vocabulary and impress my Doc on my 30 day check-up. Would someone mind explaining LMP and could you give me a ball park figure of a good LMP number, and how to interpret what my CPAP is currently reporting(I think it's 33)?
Thanks!
Michael

Question about AHI from a novice.

Hello! So, being new to all of this, I am hoping some of you might enlighten me a bit about my AHI index. After 9 days of theraphy at home, my AHI average is 2.5. I'm guessing you want this number to be low, but am I in the ballpark here? I know I'm sleeping better, so this counts for a lot on its o...

First night using Aussie Hose

Good Morning! So, I missed the Macy's Parade because I SLEPT THROUGH IT! I can't believe how rested I feel. For any Aussie Hose users, I do have a few more questions: Mindy mentioned needing to plug the adapter into the wall in a certain direction. Can anyone verify if this has been their experience...

Aussie Hose

Hello from wet Seattle. So, as some of you know, I'm a newcommer to all this and posted a few questions, which have thoughtful, helpful answers from you. My primary difficulty over this first week has been rainout, as some nights were impossible to wear the mask either becuase of fear of drowning or...

I just want to thank everybody who sent a reply! I've ordered my heater hose which, hopefully, will stop the rainout, the whistling, etc. Last night was pretty horrible.....Even with a thunderstorm and a symphony, I think I can sleep tonight...
Thanks,
Michael

Rainout?

Hi, I've only been on a CPAP for the last several nights, and I find I am taking to it quite well. I've managed to keep my nasal mask on for at least 7 hours and I know my sleep has improved. My question is: around 5:00 am, my mask usually starts to 'whistle' (which wakes me up). It's at that point ...
