Re: Issues with rescan and S9

Hi DreamDiver,
I did not provide feedback yet on this (or other) issues.
I am not sure they are interested in patients using the software but I am willing to give it a try.
Anybody has a good channel for providing feedback to ResMed?
Otherwise I will just dig the website.

Cheers

Fabio

Issues with rescan and S9

Good morning everybody, in a different topic (I do have an S9) I posted some screen shot and feedback on my experience with the new ResMed S9 and software. After about a month using it, I found out that lately the software downloads the detailed data but does not download summary data (I get the gra...

Re: My boyfriend has apnea but refuses to treat with a machine

I agree with MoneyGal. while perfectly adapted to CPAP at home for work I travel alot and like to camp out in the wild, so while CPAP helped me out I was looking for a way out because I was swallowing a lot of air due to my high pressure set and the inconvenience while on the move. I went for UPPP. ...

Re: I do have a new RESMED S9

Ok, finally I managed to put together a couple of picture of Rescan 3.10 and one of my nights spent with my S9 http://web.mclink.it/MC6636/Screen1a.jpg http://web.mclink.it/MC6636/screen2a.jpg The two screenshots are the top half and the bottom half of the screen before and after scrolling. Re: I do have a new RESMED S9

Fabio, I would be very interested to see your screen shots from ResScan 3.10, particularly the detailed graphs, showing the data as reported by your S9 machine. With the S8 series, you had to have the ResLink module in order to see the flattening index, snore index, minute ventilation, and flow dat...

Re: I do have a new RESMED S9

Yeah! All those farts in the recovery room after a colonscopy don't stink either! Some people can really fart up a melody after a colonoscopy! I used to be a wheelchair volunteer at our local hospital which at the time had a recovery "ward" rather than a recovery room for those who just underwent a...

Re: I do have a new RESMED S9

Hi all, I do not have pictures of the machine, I guess I can take a couple of pics and figure how to post them, but the site says you are not supposed to. Now you can change the S9 settings but you are not supposed to, since your setting are determined by a highly schooled and paid clinician based o...

Re: is a full face mask good if i only breathe out my nose

i breathe out my nose when i sleep. so far i only use a nose mask. do you think a full face mask would help. I also breath only from my nose during sleep but I cannot stand any nose only mask, pillows or combination. I feel much more comfortable with a full face, maybe for the long years wearing it...

Re: I do have a new RESMED S9

Hi all, the display is actually very nice graphic color LCD but the information displayed are very few. As I said the mask fit which is a sad red face or an happy green face The number of hours used last night and AHI only (no HI AI) That's it! If you change page you get the number of hours used in ...

Re: I do have a new RESMED S9

Re: I do have a new RESMED S9

The info I see on the LCD are quite limited: Usage, Mask Fit and AHI You can select the period:1 Day, 1 Week, 1 Month, 3 Months and if I recall correctly one year None of the indexes you mentioned are available (I will look more into it when I go back home) those will be probably be available with t...

I do have a new RESMED S9

All, I have been issues a new RESMED S9 last week. After a week of test I am able to say I am very satisfied with the comfort (I am on AUTOPAP 5-10 EPR3). The machine is extremely quiet (my wife is very happy with it too). A few things: -it uses a standard SD card which is not recognized by the curr...

Thanks. I understand that A-flex and C-flex are the same on expiration phase. I still do not understand what the "inspiration confort" is. May be some direct experience folk could provide some, but I do not want to hijack the thread. _________________ CPAPopedia Keywords Contained In This Post (Clic...

I am not sure what is the difference between A-Flex and C-Flex .... Anyone? I also own a S8 Advantage and recently a Respironics M series. I do fully agree on the increased confort of running in Auto mode with espiratory relief. I do suffer from Aerophagy and running in Auto with exhale relief let m...
