I wear the F&P Nasal and wash the silicone seal weekly and half-ass wipe off the gray rubber inside. I was an idiot to wash the gray rubber before, as when I dried it, the foam started flaking! I learned my lesson. So, I just wipe it off. I'll wash the plastic mask on as as needed basis... depends o...

"The coroner's office said Pimp C had sleep apnea, which causes people to stop breathing for up to 30 seconds at a time while sleeping. That illness combined with large amounts of prescription-strength cough syrup is what killed the rapper, coroner's Capt. Ed Winter said." http://www.cnn.com/2008/SH...

Do any of you guys/gals get "rug burn" on the back of your neck from the Quattro? I have the pad-a-check forehead pad for my husband, which works great... but his neck has a line on the back of it.

SleepGuy's Travelin' Pur-Sleep Trial - ahhhh... sleep!

My husband travels frequently to San Francisco and many times complains he cannot tolerate using his CPAP due to stinky "old cigarette butt smell" in his hotel room. He signed up for the Pur-Sleep Trial and used "Peace" and had a full eight-hours sleep!!! This is wonderful, because I worried when he...

Yep.. Sleep Guy definitely did it again! My husband hates traveling with CPAP because some of the hotels emit a stinky odor and he cannot sleep.. almost like an old cigarette butt. Well, this morning he called me from San Francisco and said he had no trouble falling asleep at all.. thanks to Sleep G...

I have a Kenmore HE front loader washer and dryer... and my clothes were having a funky smell after about a year... I would open up the washer and smell mold. What happened was a small washcloth had somehow gotten under the rubber seal in the front and was moldering for probably days.... I pulled it...

You sound like you are doing everything right, the exercise, the food you eat, your vitamins. What is your working environment? Do you work under fluorescent lights in a cubicle? I have overhead conversations before and sure... it hurt my feelings, but really when it comes down to it.. they are just idiotic strangers that couldn't care less about their customers. For a couple of months, I was a frequent visitor in the ER (heart palps.. thinking I was having a heart attack) a...

Our stories are almost exact. The only reason why my husband decided to have it done is his heart started acting funny at night and our daughter came up to him a couple of days later and said "Daddy, you quit breathing at night and choke and it keeps me awake because I don't want you to die." He wou...

Nap without CPAP - Not a good idea.

I wanted to share with you guys/gals that yesterday, at 4:00 p.m., I fell asleep on the couch while my daughter was doing her homework. I never take naps anymore, but I was sleepy. 45 mins, later.. I woke up startled. My heart was beating fast and I felt really shaky. I immediately took my heart rat...

xPAP is for all shape and sizes.. I definitely agree. xPAP does not "guarantee" weight loss, but it does help some who never had the energy to even start. xPAP helped me get through the 3:00 p.m. groggy and fall-asleep-at-my-desk syndrome and almost falling asleep at the wheel waiting-in-line-to-ge...
