Barb - I use the Breeze with nasal pillows and have no problems at all with it. I sleep on my stomach most of the night, but I do flip around from time to time and really don't notice any problems. I loop the hose over the top of my headboard to keep it from getting caught up on the side of the matt...

Breeze

I have both the mask and nasal pillows for my Breeze headgear. I rarely have any leaks with the nasal pillows and seem to have lots of leaks with the mask.

Re: tired

I have seen in other posts that you should be re-titrated after the first 6 months of CPAP and if there has been a weight change of +/- 20 pounds. Perhaps that is the cause.. I would talk to my doc about that.

Flonase & BP

Flonase doesn't interfere with my BP. My doc has me on meds for high BP and gives me Flonase as well. Flonase is a nasal steroid and really shouldn't interfere with BP. OTC meds have pseudoephedrine (sp?) and that is what will cause BP to rise. One OTC med is available (and I can't remember its name...

RE: CPAP hate

Do you have a heated humidifier? It sure helps me to not wake up all dried out. I can't imagine being without it!

stomach sleeping

I have slept on my stomach my entire life and was diagnosed with severe OSA. I use Breeze nasal pillows mask and still sleep on my stomach (just can't sleep on my back!). I just move to the edge of my pillow. I have seen other posts where people have said they had to get a thicker pillow in order to...

Breeze

I have both the nasal pillows and dreamseal. I prefer the nasal pillows, but switch to the dreamseal if my nose if sore. Nasal pillows give me a better seal, but the dreamseal isn't bad.

DME trouble

Severeena - If your insurance company paid for everything, let the insurance company know the trouble you are having. They have the big guns to get the DME to live up to their end of the bargain. You may ask them if they will reimburse you for the new mask if you buy it from a different vendor or we...

humidifier?

Joe - Do you have a heated humidifier? If not, it may be that your CPAP is drying out the skin on your nose (as well as your nasal passages, etc.) and causing the itch. You can find them on the internet for much less than you can buy one from your local DME. I know that mine was worth every penny th...

weight loss and titration

I have read in other forums that you should be re-titrated after 20 pounds in weight gain or loss.
