Re: Elite 8 No Longer Recording Efficiency Data
No, this is when I check it the first thing in the morning. I knew it erased it after 12:00. It just started doing this recently. Just a guess.....The unit erases the daily data after 12 Noon. If you are looking for the data for the previous night after 12 it will be gone. However the weekly, monthl...

Elite 8 No Longer Recording Efficiency Data
Could someone please help me here. I have an Elite8 Cpap machine. Have owned it for about 4 years now. Heck maybe more. I tried to check my efficiency data and it says no date for everything. Leaks, AHI, and all the rest. No more date. What happened to it? I unplugged the machine thinking it may nee...

Problems with ResMed lid not fastening
Has anyone ever had their ResMed E8 lid not fastening?? I have had this machine a little over a year and a couple of days ago I couldn't get the lid to fasten over the humidifier, finally figuring out that the little metal piece that protrudes out of the bottom is not coming out far enough for the l...

Difference between Activa and Ultra Mirage II Nasal Mask
Is there any major difference between the Activa and Ultra Mirage II Nasal mask? I should really use a FF mask because I am a mouth sleeper but I can never get any of them to seal properly so I used the Activa and a chinstrap. I have to be honest, I really don't like using a chinstrap because its un...

Are there any new masks that are out or coming out??
That would be good for a mouth breather?? I have tried the ff quattro and am now using the Activa but I have to use a chin strap really tight to keep my mouth from coming open. I have tried taping my mouth shut but I still get dry mouth and bad leaks if I do it that way.

Re: Has anyone found a chin strap that works for them?
Wow, that is a low leak rate, mine was over 1, something like 1.46 and my events were up around 8. When I wear the Activa my events are around 2. With the Quattro I have to tighten the straps so tight that the bridge of my nose is extremely sore in the morning and it still leaks.

Re: Has anyone found a chin strap that works for them?
Thanks Mike. I have the Quattro as well but I can not get it to stop leaking and my events are really bad when I wear it vs the Activa.

Has anyone found a chin strap that works for them?
I have given up all hope of ever using a FF mask, tried again last night and I had leaks coming out of everywhere. Even when I tightened the mask up it still didn't work. The only thing I can use with some decent results is the Activa but unfortunately I am a mouth sleeper and I am losing air that w...

For those that actually use chin straps
Do you put your strap on before the mask or put the chin strap on over the mask straps. So far the chin strap is the only thing that half way keeps my big mouth shut during sleep. I have tried the tape and denture strips and nothing works.
