i think this is a fantastic idea. I'm still working my way thru masks, trying to figure out what works... I don't have insurance coverage for DME, so I'm on my own. I think the Opus 360 is going to wori for me... really good seal, but I have to figure out what to do about strap marks that seeem to l...

yep, it seems like the folks who can get 'em to work say there's nothing better, but for every one of them, there are a couple folks like me who can't get the dang things to fit at all. I picked one up off cpap auction a few weeks ago, and have not been able to get anything approaching a seal. I gue...

nasal pillow question
So, here is another in a series of odd questions, I'm afraid. I've been using mirage swift masks for a while now- going on 3 years I think? Everything was fantastic until a few months ago. All of a sudden, I started having terrible leaks around the nose. I tried a bunch of stuff, (including cinching...

comfort curve
Hi, I have very lightly used comfort curve mask, never worn overnight (just long enough to figure out I can't adjust it to fit my face!). All cushions and tubing included, along with literature. Would like to trade for Mirage Swift II, but willing to consider nasal masks as well. Send PM if interest...

Thanks for the links, RestedGal. At least it's nice to know I'm not the only one with face that just isn't compatible with the dang thing. I've tried all the adjustments I can find on the mask istelf (changing pad angles, adjusting straps, flipping strap upside down...) and nothing quite seems to do...

comfort curve- WTF??
Hi, so, after some research, and lots of nasal irritation from pillows, I decided to give the comfort curve a try, and I picked one up off cpap auction. Is there some secret to getting the nasal interface anywhere near my actual nose? I think it would be comfortable if I could just widen/flatten out...

I've had a similar experience, actually. Tho I'm new to this forum, I've been on CPAP for about 2 years. At first, I absolutely could not believe the difference~ I thought "People wake up feeling like this ?!?!" But lately I've felt less energized in the morning, less rested, more lethargic... kindo...

cowlicks
cowlicks, right. Colic is something entirely different. Sorry for the confusion. Shower's are no help, actually. Even after a shower, blow dry and handful of product, i have these weird cowlicks I never had before- right under the straps for the headgear. I mean, if goofy hair is the price I have to...

unfortunate cowlicks?
Hi all, So, this is another in a series of newbie questions. I seem to have the problem with my irritated nares under control (thanks to all who recommended nostril lubes! I found Ayr at the drugstore, ordering some of the others online to check them out too). Now, however, I seem to be developing w...

2 questions from new kid
Hi all, I've been using APAP machine for about a year, but am new to CPAP.com. I just realized ya'll who use this stuff every day probably know more about the day-to-day stuff than my DME supplier (who told me to run my mask & humidifier thru the dishwasher once a week), or my doc, who does not actu...
