Setting for Hybrid Mask with Resmed Autoset Spirit

I have just purchased a Hybrid Mask. I was wondering if anyone could recommend what value to use for the "Mask" setting in my CPAP machine. (This is used in determining leak rates.) My machine is an older Resmed Autoset Spirit. It only has settings for specific Resmed masks. The available values are...

Re: Pap-Cap

I have been using my pap-cap since I recieved mine to do a review on. I LOVE this cap. I use it every single night. I wear the CG nasal mask and although I still have some leak issues, I am getting much lower leak rates with this headgear. It holds my mask in place, is very comfortable to use and I...

I just got an arch shape as well above the ear area. It made a differrence sort of. I have been noticing that the chin is firm when I got to sleep but late in the night when I arouse it seems there it is slack. I think the cap is slipping forward on my head.] I haven't had that problem. Make sure t...

Re: PAP-CAP - It's great!

I've been thinking about cutting out a bit of fabric around the ears in the design.... Did you finish / sew the cut edge to keep the fabric from fraying? Pictures would be extremely helpful. I just e-mailed you a couple of pictures, since (according to the FAQ) there is no upload capability on this...

PAP-CAP - It's great!

I've had my PAP-CAP for about a week now, and all I can say is "this thing is flat-out wonderful." Most nights, leak rates were 0, which I had never seen before; when they weren't zero, there were well under .1 L/s--usually .01 or .02L/s. It's so much more comfortable and easy to use than the combin...

Thanks a lot, RosemaryB. I tried this and it works wonderfully well. First time ever I've gotten my leak rate consistently under 1 L/s.

Re: ResScan with AutoSet Spirit

Thanks a lot for the information. My machine is definitely not an S8. Anyway, you've told me what I need to know. Thanks, again.

ResScan with AutoSet Spirit

I have a two year old Resmed Autoset Spirit, and I'm thinking about getting the ResScan software so I can get better informed about what's going on while I'm sleeping. However, everything I've read about ResScan says you have to use it with a card reader. The AutoSet Spirit doesn't use a card; rathe...
