Re: OT: Tragic Shooting.

I was really starting to wonder about posting any more positive threads like the Victor Cruz story. It just seemed like it was pointless. I know. But it seems like even a few positive words will help at this time. For instance, this guy only wrote six: http://l2.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/0cUCNsF3BqT....

Re: OT: Tragic Shooting.

...I don't want to get into out of respect to the OPs wish to keep heated discussions out of this thread. And it is so difficult to hold back posting " Don't you guys get it? ", but the battle is/will be to show restraint. It's too easy to react to hate with hate, and think you're doing the right t...

Re: OT: Tragic Shooting.

I was only thinking of the kids and families when I posted this thread. It would of been nice to see the "Guns are bad/ Guns are good" argument in another thread but it is as it as. I completely agree. However, as Robbie said, everyone has free agency and can use it as they see fit. My free agency ...

Re: Events are on the increase.

I'll try and move that appointment forward tomorrow. Excellent. We may also be able to glean arousal information from the heart rate in the download, microanalyzing "R-R Interval". I feel far more relaxed about all this now that you have looked at my data. Too early to be "relaxed", but you should ...

Re: Events are on the increase.

However, do you think I should be asking for further testing to check breathing? Possible ASV? Absolutely to both. If those events are causing arousals and/or desaturations, a few of those nights are darn near as bad as pre-CPAP. However, it would seem that ASV will fix everything in short order. S...

Re: Might be an old topic... but...

Have you any idea how annoying the wet, Torontonian parkas are? Besides, our daystar is also broken. Sunrise at 7:44, sunset at 16:41. And while it does get painfully bright on clear days, we're just as covered as in Edmonton. Yeah, well, it's too late now, we're all on our way. We'll be there at s...

Re: Events are on the increase.

However, since VPAP Adapt is minute ventilation-based, it should smooth this right out:

Re: Events are on the increase.

A review of the data does not appear to show hypoventilation, so an ASV approach should reap some significant benefit. That said (I've taken to saying "that said" a lot. Blame -SWS), one should have a good idea just what one should be fixing here. I believe all the events are central in nature. Whil...

Re: OT: Tragic Shooting.

Did you all hear the lead policeman (Vance ??) say that they were placing one trooper at each victim's family's home to protect their privacy and suggested that the media allow the families that privacy? For crying out loud there were "reporters" interviewing children who had been in the school dur...

http://www.godubois.com/blahdocs/uploads/victoria_soto_3434.jpg This is Victoria. She died a hero today. She hid her first graders in the cabinets and closets after hearing the gunfire. When the shooter came to her classroom, she told him that her students were in the gym. He then gunned her down a...

Re: Events are on the increase.

Deltadave, thanks for the instructions. If I can't do it, my husband will be able to when he gets home. What do I then do with the files? Just post them here? With respect to the CS -2 I will do some research. My sleep doc initially wasn't keen on what he called the hellish expensive machines with ...
