My class dean has already interceded on my behalf. However, she can't FORCE my teachers to give me extra time on things or to not count my absences against me. That isn't necessarily true. Do you have a "Disabilities" Department? There's one at my daughter's college and they have been VERY helpful ...

i know there is no fair comparison to someone dieting and someone who cuts there stomach in two, but this seems to be a logical place to post my weight. My weight has slowly been moving upward, so any weight lost by anyone is significant. Ted Ted...we're all fighting the same battle...how we choose...

Tonight is my 30 year high school reunion, one of the main reasons for wanting to lose weight back in July. I guess it's too late to lose any more before 8 PM, right? Have a blast Lori!!!! I haven't been to any of my reunions...don't have the guts or the inclination. Maybe I'll go some day..... Hav...

Hey you weight watchers....it's Friday!

So how was your week?? I think I blew it....couldn't keep my fingers out of the halloween candy. I finally had my son hide it from me (and I haven't gone searching for it). I got up the courage to weigh myself yesterday and I don't think I gained anything (woohoo!!!). Friday is "jeans day" where I w...

I saw the doc this week and got depressing news. In the past 10 weeks I gained 5 lbs. Plus, since my last blood test 3 months ago my blood sugar has gone up and my cholesterol has gone crazy! It has been a bad week, all 'round. I'll post more details in the MIA thread about me. Hey Bill..you did ha...

Hey Lori, I'm here....sort of...I'm on drugs right now so I may not make any sense. I got weighed today...was down 9lbs.from last week but this wasn't my doctor's scale (a different doctor's scale). Plus I wasn't allowed to eat anything yesterday and most of today so I don't think it's a true repres...

I take a medicine called Seroquel. I've been taking it for years. I helps me fall asleep and stay asleep....that's the good news. The bad news is when I take it, I have to go to bed....if I try and fight it, I get very nauseous. Normally that wouldn't be a problem but one night I took it and ten min...

Hi Littlered, Welcome! I'm sorry you're having such a rough start. Like anything new, this takes awhile to get used to. I think most people find this whole process very frustrating in the beginning. If you stick with it (and I hope you do), it will get easier. If you read through some posts, I think...

I'm certainly not a doctor but I'm wondering if your leg pains are being caused by poor circulation. Are your feet cold? Do you have any areas on your legs that are red and warm to touch? If so, you could have a blood clot..I believe they can cause the pain you're describing. If you're that uncomfor...

WAFlowers...MIA?

Has anybody heard from Bill lately? I was wondering how he and his family weathered "Wilma". I'm guessing he doesn't have any electricity or maybe he's just ignoring us.

I have a Respironics Pro2 with C-Flex and HH and it works very well for me. I don't have any complaints. My pressure is set at 13, C-flex at 3 and Humidity at 4. As f...
