Re: HI vs AI

Thank you for the comments and replies... it's odd that the machine would read things wrong... It baffles me how increasing the limits may have an impact especially since the machine is not going anywhere near the maximums.. so increasing it even higher may not be the answer. You'd think all machine...

HI vs AI

I have been using a brand new DeVilbiss CPAP machine for the last few weeks.. I have all the extra attachments (software, SD Card, etc.) so I've been monitoring my sleep... I noticed my Aprea Index is quite low (.8 to 3/hr) but my Hypopnea Index (HI) is usually quite higher... 4.5 to 10 per hour.......

Re: Does Intellipap SmartFlex work like my old Series M A-Flex?

Acroflyer, does the software alone work without the MODULE that's part of the $149 kit? Please explain how you are using it?

Re: Does Intellipap SmartFlex work like my old Series M A-Flex?

Thanks hawthorn, Good to know, and releived that SmartFlex can do A-Flex and more. Are you using the Software kit? The daily code thingy also sounds interesting. In my case, even with the the M Series, I haven't found a need to check the data too often. Once I found my Min/Max settiings, I rarely ch...

Does Intellipap SmartFlex work like my old Series M A-Flex?

I Have been using a Respironics Series M with A-Flex for some years now. My Humidifier is leaking and it's time to upgrade the machine. I was told about the Intellipap SmartFlex or the System One 60 Series or equivalent as a replacement. Since I live in Canada, I found out I cannot have CPAP.com sen...

Was there a major price hike recently?

I just noticed that since I bought my Respironics A-Flex machine (and OptiLife Mask) in December, there has been a big jump in the prices at several online CPAP shops... Did I miss something? I know Philips bought Respironics recently, do you think they ordered a price hike for online sellers or els...

Now, the software part. Will it work with the machine I plan to buy? The new REMstar Auto M with A-Flex?

Is anyone willing to sell a used copy for less?

TIA
