chronic runny nose, burning sinus and sneezing?
Hi All, I have been on CPAP since October 07, since that time I seem to have a constant runny nose (clear) and my sinuses burn, (feels like when you pull pool water up your nose) When the sinuses start to burn, I have a round of sneezing that goes on for several minutes. What is this all about? I un...

Hose Covers and other crafty ideas
I made a hose cover for my husband out of the soft micro-fleece. Works great! I have the swift 2 and the headgear is really bothering my face. So, in a moment of brillance ( I don't get those very often) I decided to try a pair of baby socks, the thick bootie type with elastic at the top. I snipped ...

I have used the Pur-Sleep now for 2 nights. I really like the Peace and even got my husband to use it last night. We both seem to like them. The information was well presented and well written. I seemed to have problems with the dispensers also and got more than 1 drop also. Never thought about putt...

Somewhere I read that the large is designed more commonly for men and the small for women. I would not use that as the gospel though. Is there some way you can get the masks and try them on and not have to buy one? When I had my titration study they let me try several on and I chose the Swift II. Th...

mirage liberty
I got started on CPAP on 09/22/07. I checked with DME and they said the insurance will replace mask every 6 months. I think I will wait until 6 months and let ins buy the next one. I like the Swift and actually have gotten pretty good rest with it. Would just like to try the liberty and see what it'...

Mirage Liberty Full Face CPAP Mask with Nasal Pillows
Hi All, I have just joined the Hosehead family. I am interested in the Mirage Liberty ffm with nasal pillows. I currently use swift II however, have a tendency to mouth breathe even with chin strap. Can't do tape yet, really kind of freaks me out to have tape over my mouth. I am wondering what peopl...

cpap and arthritis is there a connection?
I have recently joined the hosehead family. My husband has been a member for years and I finally gave up and went for study. I have had osteoarthritis in my knees for years. Too many years of basketball and not playing nicely. I have noticed that over the last 3 weeks or so, my joints don't hurt lik...
