It WORKS NOW! I did all the steps in my prior plan of action....including a comprehensive registry search for MS SQL SERVER. I believe it was the "Business Contacts for Outlook" that caused the conflict with Encore. The uninstall for that was messy also but worked. If Derek hadn't noticed that the e...

Quick reply as I'm on my way to Thyroid Biopsy 1. My Encore never installed. (yet) 2. I won't install card reader until after Encore works. 3. I can't really remember the exact error message I was receiving when I did have Encore working that made me uninstall. I think it was an error every thing I ...

Yeah Lori, Derek is here. Derek, I have gone through the postings in the past by doing a search on Encore Pro Installation and found the above mentioned. My printer and file settings are checked. I have lots of HD space, I have weird results in my C:\programs........ Please look at my 2nd posting on...

OK, I'll bite. How do you know you have a bad BiPap? I may just have bad settings. Yes, I have all the latest updates and virus settings. I actually have 2 virus programs and an active spy sweeper which are a pain to turn off whenever I do a software install. I also have a wireless internet and a ac...

Lori, The program I am having trouble with is Encore Pro to use with the Remstar BiPap pro 2. Apparently it is very finicky. The silverling software for the PB installed perfectly which makes me wonder if I should move away from the Remstar which is giving me problems. 1. The software won't load. 2....

Thanks Lori, I've tried all your suggestions. I can't install the card driver till I get the software working. My dilemma is actually bigger than the bad install. I received the BiPap pro2 via my DME 2 weeks ago at the same time I purchased a PB420E Auto to take on vacation. (I have both software pr...

Encore Pro installation disaster! RESOLVED
This program is giving me grief! I have spent hours installing & reinstalling. I have searched and read all prior listing I could find. I recognize most of the problems others have had but I can not seem to fix mine. I believe that each thing I've tried has made it worse. I have even used windows re...

I use the Swift and sleep on both my sides and my back. I've gotten really good at tossing the line over my face as I sleep and move. When I sleep on my Left side I generally sleep on the edge of the pillow and keep the hose off to the Left side. I also seem to adjust the nasal pillow while I sleep....

OK...my latest update. Got Dr. to OK an AutoPap. Met with my DME today who let me try a BiPap with BiFlex machine. It was wonderful......no effort to exhale! However he told me that no current biPap on the market is auto. I am still trying to find my pressure....8 seemed to high and 6 was to low so ...

Is it really the insurance company you have to convince. I can't see how a DME co. would not want you to have a more expensive machine...they are in it for the money, right. I am about to change from a CPAP to an auto and my DME told me insurance does not buy autos .. just rents them till you find y...

I've been using the Swift for 3 months. I sleep on my sides and my back. I like it because I can put it on and read till I get sleepy. I can change the hose connection to my right or my left. I normally connect on the same side that my husband sleeps so I encourage myself to sleep turned away from h...

My Dr. turned my pressure down to 6 and told me to stop using the ramp since that low a pressure makes you breathe harder. The 6 did help my swallowing air some but I can't tell that I am sleeping any better....I'm back to wanting 10 hours bedtime. Before CPAP I could stay inbed 12 hours. I do relax...
