My DME has been trying to convince me to use a full face mask (it is just his personal preference) but I have been resistant because of clostrophobia issues. I might just have to break down and give it a try. I really love the Swift II, I forget I even have it on. You may want to try a Hybrid inste...

I need help understanding these numbers.
Hi all! I have been having a rough time with feeling really unrested in the last month. My doctor told me to send in my card. I asked to have the report faxed to me and it might as well be written in Russian. My Doc has been pretty unresponsive to my concerns so I intend to change to another sleep l...

I have had this type of migraine for years. I have to say that it seems to be somewhat improved since being on CPAP but it is hard to say with any certainty since I have not been using therapy that long. I have high hopes for a permanent improvement. I have had a good bit of luck with the meds my do...

AHI confusion
I contacted my DME about getting an APAP. While I am doing better over-all since I started on the CPAP I still have days when I feel like I slept without the machine at all. I believe that there might be days when I just sleep differently and might have different pressure needs. He came over to chec...

I was shocked when I got my free trial in the mail. I never win anything. I was very excited to try it because I had been looking at the product on the internet for sometime. I can tell you for sure that the main thing that kept me from ordering was the price. Had it been $19.99 with the ability to ...

NOW I am bothered by my spouse's snoring.
How ironic is that? He has always slept facing away from me because of my snoring. That position left his deaf ear up and the good ear in the pillow and he couldn't hear a thing. Now he sleeps facing me because I don't snore. His snoring wakes me up at least once a night. I think he needs a sleep st...

I too have had very vivid dreams for many years. I always attributed it to being on Prozac because that is a recognized side-effect of the drug. It now makes more sense that it was the apnea the whole time because I rarely remember my dreams since starting with the cpap and I still take the prozac a...

All really good ideas that I will work with. It is amazing how inventive people on this forum are. I like the idea of combining oils. Also, the drying ideas are very good. I thought I was slick spinning the hose like a helicopter blade to dry it after I wash it. It never dries it totally so I still ...

The filters are good. I just don't think that the hose ever really dries out. I use the humidifier at a setting of 2 and I can always see water dropplets in there when I go to use it the next night. It does make sense if there is mildew...I guess. Funny story. The intake used to be right up against ...

Finally adjusted and rested.
I am finally at a point that I love my mask and cannot sleep without it. I could see a real difference in being less sleepy while driving right away. I am so thankful for that all by itself. BUT, now I am able to go through a whole day of work...wide awake and energetic till 5:00. I have noticed a h...

I tried the Opti Life also because I thought that the Swift II laid too heavily on my upper lip. The hose issue was the number one problem I found with this mask. I think the swivel should be an option. After just one weekend I asked for my Swift II back. I love the Swift II now and feel totally adj...

I was did not particularly love any of the scents. I did order a bottle of the creme scent because I love the smell of vanilla. I like the idea of the product so much but I think that the essential oils that exist just aren't my cup of tea. It is strange because I really love scents. I have differen...

It is good to know about the card reader! I would have been really mad had I bought it and only got compliance data. My machine is through an HMO so I seriously doubt I would be able to get a machine with all the bells and wistles if it costs any more money. It is always worth it to inquire because ...
