How to tell if cpap is working right?
I have a Remstar System one Automatic cpap with a-flex. Is there a way to tell if it is working properly? For the past 2 nights, it has barely gone above the minimum setting of 5. Before that it was running usually at 8 more 90% of the time. I just don't think it's working right, but I hate to call ...

Trying to switch to nasal mask, need advice
After years of using a full face mask, I'm trying to switch to a nasal mask because it is so much more comfortable. I guess it's the difference in air delivery, but I feel like I'm suffocating. It must make me breath weird because I swallow a ton of air. Is it just a question of giving myself time t...

New machine questions
I just got a new machine a Remstar A-Flex One System yesterday. How do I tell the pressure setting? I'm not sure they have it correctly set because my brain is not as clear as it was with the machine I took home for a sleep stuy. I'm wondering does the setting even matter, since it can go from 4-20?...

Re: Sleep Masks?
I ended up getting the Bucky Ultralight. It works pretty well with my nasal mask. Thanks for your help.

Sleep Masks?
Does anyone use a sleep mask with their cpap? Can you tell me the brand? They all look big to use even with a nasal mask, so I'm looking for recommendations. Thanks!

Re: face lines
It has to be tight or I get leaks. I have tried hot cloths, cold cloths, ice in the morning to try to get the lines to go away more quickly, but nothing seems to do it. I think it's worse when I sleep on my side, so I try not to, but sometimes I just have to.

Re: face lines
It's not the straps, which I think Padacheek is for, it's the mask itself causing the lines on my cheeks on both sides of my nose.

Does anyone have a tried and true method to get face lines to go away in the morning? There's got to be a way, I hope.

smoky air in CA
The air here in California is very bad right now due to the fires. I have been wondering if it would be better for my lungs not to use the CPAP. Is it just forcing more bad air into my lungs?

CPAP and hot weather
This is my first summer with the CPAP. We have had a heatwave in CA, it's miserable at night. Any tips for coping with using a CPAP when it is hot at night?

one more mask question
I have to change insurance and I don't think the new one will pay for masks. Can you use a mask longer than 6 months? How do you tell it needs replacing, by leaks? Thanks for your advice.

mask hell
I had a mirage quatro full faced mask for 6 months. It was leaky and caused pressure sores on my nose. So, yesterday I got a Flexi-fit 432, still have a red nose. I think it's the anatomy of the bridge of my nose, there's a little bump there that I never noticed before. I have tried padacheek, mole ...
