Rainouts with ResMed S9 heated hose ?

Hi ! Anyone got experiences with ResMed S9 heated hose? Does it completely fix rainouts problems? I live in quebec (canada) it's currently -13'F outside and the air is very dry. I tried using a hose cover, putting my CPAP lower than the bed, i still get waken up by my mask full of water. My insuranc...

Re: Need help! Uars, aerophagia...?

I am not convinced that increasing pressure provides relief to arousals that are not obstructive related. You are probably right. Set clock on Remstar Auto M Series

Hi, I own a REMstar Auto M Series with A-Flex, I have noticed that when I download data (from the card) to Encore Pro 2.2, the time at which the "therapy data" is displayed is a few hours too late. For example, last night I went to bed from 1:00 AM to 7:00 and in Encore Pro it says it's from 4:00 AM...

Re: Aerophagia only with Swift FX...

Thank you for answer torontoCPAPguy ... The thing is, as I mentionned the problem doesn't happen when I use my Swift II... it's only with the Swift FX! Now I know you would say "Then why don't you use the Swift II" ? Well like everybody i don't like using a CPAP, but I would find it less bothering w...

That's in my plans too so that's exactly why a titration software will be required... I can't believe they just don't give titrating CPAP to everybody... just think about all the costs involved for re-doing a polysomnography!! or the costs of sleeping with the wrong pressure.. tire at work, sick, in...

Pretty good point... I have read that long debate thread about self-adjusting my pressure and I really love the idea! as someone mentionned, our "needed pressure" has been determined by only one night in a cold little room in an hospital... things might have changed since, and also i'm sure every bo...

Need to buy a CPAP. Any suggestion ?

Hi, I'm having severe sleep apnea and I'm using a "loaner" CPAP from my hospital. I finally got a medical insurance and now I want to buy my own ! The hospital landed me a CPAP which I can't tell the model... it has an humidifier with a heater and a 20 minutes ramp. I know some criterias I want for ...
