Looks like it may pull the nose up to me ... I can't really see how it works to hold the nose piece in place - it just looks complicaed! Also, you have the same kind of problem the swift has with the side panels and no doubt marks on the face. From what i've seen I think I'll hold on to my money! si...

Over heating with the heated hose
Has anyone ever felt that they were in danger of overheating themselves by using the heated hose? I ask because some nights I start to use the hose with no problems then quite a few hours later I wake up feeling terrible and way over hot ... It is just me or has anyone else had this problem? sir_c

cpap.com has a fitting guide if you look up the breeze on their site. I am a 6 foot large male and I use the medium pillows! But, I have heard of smaller women using the large pillows! It may be worth buying a breeze with small, medium and large and then swapping the pillows you can't use on this si...

I have sleepless on LI's old breeze and I am a side sleeper. From what I can tell the breeze seems to work better on men than women, but that is just my perspective on it and may have little to do with real hard fact! I love the breeze because it is possible to wear it so loosely that it only touche...

Excuse me for putting a damper on the ideas but what is the motivation to provide permanent solutions to OSA? These guys know which side their bread's buttered! So over the next 25 years there will be a series of ever smaller machines, ever cleverer masks and tons of new bright ideas to separate us ...

swap - Breeze Large pillows for Medium pillows?
Hi I have a set of large (green) breeze nasal inserts which have never been used (although the bag has been opened) which I would like to swap for a pair of medium (clear) nasal inserts that have not been used. Anyone interested? I am based in the UK, so overseas postage would have to be paid if you...

Sorry to say, but it takes time to get the right mask for you. There are so many factors and so many masks to try, you just have to do your research and try out different masks. I have been through 5 or 6 and now just use the same one every night (breeze with nasal inserts) I am a side sleeper and i...

Here is Leeds the situation is bad. I went via my dentist because of my awful snoring and was referred to an orthodontist. The appointment took 6 months to come through. When I got there and had the discussion I was convinced I had OSA and when I was told the waiting times (it would take between 2 y...

HI For me the the mask issue was all important, I just couldn't cope with a nasal mask and it wasn't until I tried the breeze that I actually ended up with something that really helped. In fact, I wonder if quite a lot of my problem is more to do with the upper airway (nose and back of nose) so that...

the resmed S7s & 8s and as far as I know all CPAPs adjust from 4 to 20! You can adjust the pressure on an S8 through the clinitians menu which I can tell you how to find if you need. I don't know about other machines but I'm sure you can find info from others on this site. if you need the info on th...

Hi When I first started treatment about a year ago I was 'titrated' on an apap machine - and all was well. But, when the health people thought they had worked out my pressure -7.2- they then set me up with a cpap machine. Within 2 -3 nights I was close to throwing the damn thing out of the window. A...

I've been doing the scrunchy thing for a long time now. I bought a couple and used tape to stick them to the back of my headboard. At night I hang the hose through them at the front of my headboard so that they don't pull over the back of the headboard. The only issue I have is that sometimes when I...
