I use Johnson's head to toe baby wash mild soap. I find that it cleans well and rinse's off easily.

First night with the heated hose was a success Had no rainout for the whole night. I did plug it in about an hour or so before actually using the CPAP is that matters. It felt a bit warm to the touch, but not much.
