My wife is Chinese and when we go back to China to visit her relatives she always buys bottled water for me. I think a hose cover will solve many if not all of your problems. If you are unable to find a cover at Pad-A-Cheek you might want to try Snugglehose.com or better yet, Snugglehose covers are available at cpap.com for less money. Good luck!
