Battery
Is it possible to use a normal 12 volt rechargeable battery with a CPAP? I have the cord, but, in addition to that question, do not know how to attach the cord to a normal 12 volt battery. Can anyone help?

Decreasing airflow/pressure
I am using the REMstar auto M series with A-Flex. At times I awaken with the sensation that too much air is being blown down me. Can I set this machine with a lower maximum airflow/pressure?
Thanks.

mouth piece
Well, I am considering buying the thing and appreciate the information. I'd like to hear from more people about this.
If one has obstructive sleep apnea, not central, and the snoring is eliminated, wouldn't that make it quite likely that the apnea is eliminated as well?

Mouth device
A friend of mine was diagnosed with sleep apnea and couldn't tolerate the cpap. He started using the device described here: http://puresleep.com/ His impression is that it works and others say he no longer snores. Does anyopne here have a well-informned opinion about it?
Thanks.

Is hypopnea measureable w/CPAP
As I just posted elsewhere, it is my understanding that a desaturation of blood O2 level is necessary for an hypopneac event and the CPAP cannot measure that, correct?

"Hypopnea" measurements are bogus, right?
If I understand what hypopnea means, it requires a measurement of blood O2 level, which the CPAP does not measure. Therefore, whenever the printed out data refers to hypopnea index or AHI, it's nonsense, right? Am I missing something? Bob _________________ CPAPopedia Keywords Contained In This Post ...
