Topic: How effective is Aussie heated hose with CL2 mask?

I have a heated hose and have used both the CL 2 and the Aura. I get rainout with the Aura but not the CL 2. I had my wife make covers for the small hose parts on both of the masks except for the very end of the CL 2, but still get some rainout with the Aura. I only use the Aura during the summer wh...

I also use the Remstar Auto in auto mode with cflex and the Swift nasal pillows and they have worked fine for over one year. Good machine and good mask. I love being able to download and review my data. I run at a normal highest pressure of around 10 and my sleep study thought I needed 14. Go for th...

I have also used my free sample of the cotton padacheeks and it works fine. I never reallly had a problem with the strap marks lasting too long on my face when I wake up in the morning, but I thought I would try Karen's product. They do make the straps a little more comfortable while sleeping. The d...

I have the Australian heated hose and I also get rainout in the Aura right at the nose. I also made a little cover for the small hose that is part of the mask. The only way I don't get rainout with the Aura is with the heated hose and my humidifier as passover with no heat. Never get rainout with my...

True. Polarity of the two prongs is not important according to the instructions.

So far running the humidifier with water but no heat seems to be OK. No rainout and my throat is not too dry in the morning. Seems silly to have the humidifier and not be able to use it. The delicate clear silicone tubes leading to my nose are too close to my face to add any additonal material. I al...

I have the same arrangement with respect to the machine. I get no rainout in the big hose. the only rainout I get is in the clear tubing of the Aura below your infamous rubber bands. Small drops form and eventually run down to my nose. This tubing is so small and soft, it does not lend itself to bei...

The rubber bands are a great fix for the Aura. I used them last night without any additional bands and had no leaks. Thanks. The big problem I have is with rainout. I have the Aussie heated hose and I even covered the short hose on the Aura with fleece. I keep my heater at 1 and after an hour or two...

The picture is old. I received mine yesterday and it's a nice beige color. I guess they ran out of maroon cover material!

I received the hose yesterday. Worked good last night. No rainout at increased humidity level. Hose is definately heavier than the standard hose. It will take a few nights to get used to.

headed hose

I ordered mine on Friday 10-14, received the confirmation e-mail on Monday 10-17 and am hoping it's waiting for me a home today 10-24. Still waiting 9 days after ordering....it's like they are on the other side of the world!

hose ship time?

For those that already have the heated hose....How long did it take to ship to the US? I placed the order Friday and they sent mine today (found out by e-mail). They mention 7-10 days, but I was looking for actual ship times from Down Under.

Respironics REMstar Auto C-Flex CPAP Clinical Manual

I have been renting a REMstar Auto C-Flex CPAP with heated humidifier for a couple of months and after considerable fighting with Apria, my DME supplier, they are going to have my insurance (and me) buy the unit. I already bought the card reader and software for my computer out of pocket. The Apria ...
