Encore Pro on Mac Parallels

I have been trying to load Encore Pro on my Mac via the Parallels program for PC programs. I am running XP Service Pack 3. When I try to load the program it fails to load the MSDE program and I get the usual message to contact support like so many others have reported. It will load the Encore Pro pr...

Re: M series silencer and Pur-Sleep

The picture posted by Snoredog is correct. I don't think Sleepguy will post a response because it could place him in a position of recommending an application of his product, "in-line" which I don't think he will want to do. I guess I was looking for more responses like the first guy who said he had...

M series silencer and Pur-Sleep

I recently added the M-Series silencer and like how it seems to quiet down my machine some. However, I am addicted to Pur-Sleep and this is now a problem since there is only a tiny hole that allows air to come into the machine (which is on the top of the little box). Has anyone tried just putting th...

Re: Liberty question

[quote="Idget"]I tried the Swift II but thinking of going back to my Liberty. The liberty doesn't work for me as a side sleeper and I was starting to get good results with the liberty. Just wanted to see what it would be like to have a nose pillow only. Like some things about it, but with mouth tapi...

I'm almost at the end of my fifth month and agree with you on the bathroom thing. I used to get up three or four times. too. Couldn't get back to sleep sometimes and spent many nights in my recliner, dozing and watching tv. Not now, get up maybe once a night (many nights not at all) and sleep well. ...

Gosh, I wish that could happen to me for awhile........maybe if food didn't taste so good or smell so good, i would find it easier to lose weight. I don't think it is your cpap machine but if you can find out what's causing it; bottle it and sell it. You will be a rich person!

My DW says it is the best thing I added to my routine. She hates the air blowing from my Swift II mask when I turn her direction, but at least now, it smells like spearmint (Clear) long after I no longer can detect it. I, too, think it lingers in the mask after my nose has turned it off for me. Mikey

Re: Newbie question with Swift II

[quote="Flash699"]I've only been on CPAP a couple weeks and they just moved me from a mouth and nose mask to the Swift II mask. Maybe it's a coincidence but immediately I had massive head cold symptoms: drainage, head felt 2X in size, red, watery eyes, etc. Stayed with it a couple nights but last ni...

Yes, I do have a Snapp and use it quite often (more than any of my other 4 masks). The leakage table was included in the literature. If you want it. PM me and I will try to scan it off. I know the prongs look like pillows, but if they are the right size, the bulbous (?) part at the bottom should fit...

The Snapp interface is not a nasal pillow system. It is a nasal prong system. The nasal prongs fit into the nasal cavities not up to them like nasal pillows.

At 9, the leak rate is about 40. Their documentation on this point is terrible with one line at .50 and that is it for the vertical axis. At 9, it would appear to be about a fifth of the way down between the .50 reference and the horizontal axis.

SleepGuy,

I love Clear but find I use alot of it. What is wrong with having an in-line system for delivery? I know I would use a lot less if I was putting the oil on a pad that was connected directly to the air line. Are there legal issues here or what?

Also keep in mind how long you are in apnea before your airway is cleared. I average less than 2 per night and most of mine are 5 seconds or less, which is pretty good in my opinion. Compared to no treatment, my sleep study showed I failed to breathe for a total of twenty MINUTES a night.
