no more c-pap
I want to make other sleep apnea patients' aware of my recent visit to my Sleep Specialist. After 2 years of fighting with masks, nasal units etc. I was about to discuss other options. Long story short, I asked how many apneas occurred when I slept on my side-NONE! all the apneas, 10 in 30 min. were...

No Longer Need C-Pap?
I recently spent time away from home and shared a room at a hotel with my friend, and she told me she never heard me stop breathing, etc. even once during the 3 nights. My husband also has related the same thing. Someone mentioned to me that after a couple of years with C-pap you may no longer need ...

Hookup for the Aussie Hose
Hi fellow C-pap Users,
I just received my Aussie heated hose. I can't find my old mail where someone explained about hooking it up. It has a black plus on the end??
Something about an adapter from Radio Shack. Really appreciate your help.

Fisher Paykel FF mask
I saw my "sleep Dr."yesterday and reviewed everything I have been using without too much success. He advised me to get a Fisher Paykel full face mask-flex fit, and also the heated tubing by same co. Do any of you have input about the face mask, I still remain a side sleeper and turn often, but he fe...

MASKS
any new c-pap masks and/or nasal masks that a side sleeper can use comfortably? Still looking, use the Nasal Aire 11 and full face. Didn't like the comfort curve. Only get about 2 nights a week of restful sleep with the Nasal Air 11. Can't get on line enough to read all the posts.
Thanks, Judy
Thanks, Judy

HELP WITH MIRAGE SWIFT
I tried the mirage swift last night, putting the hose over the top of my head (side sleeper). After about 2 hours the air rushing in my hose was painful, so I turned the pressure down on the humidifier. Again after a few hours, too much air in my nose. Finally resorted back to the full face mask. Am...

Help with c-pap masks
I am now into 1 year of C-pap use. I alternate between the full face mask (ultra mirage) and the Nasal Aire 11. I have the ultra mirage swift, but can't get used to it. Is anyone using the heated hose from Australia with the ff mask? and regarding the Nasal Air, I have so much air noise, is that nor...

Surgery and C-Pap
Hi, Wondering if any of you have had a major surgery recently and what about using the C-pap at the Hospital?? I am having spine surgery on Wed. and doubt that I will be in any condition to even use a C-Pap. According to what I have read, I have to let the anesthesiologist know about my sleep apnea....

C-pap Masks
I would like some thoughts on the Mirage Swift. I have tryed it several times and the tubing presses on my face, since I am a side sleeper. Finally gave up and back to the Nasal Aire II. That too irriatates my ears, after sleeping awhile and the Nasal Aire 11 is so noisy (air). I am really not havin...
