Sleepy Carol-my profile must be listed wrong, I don't have any cable, etc. Also, when I typed in remstar pro m series on the cpap site, it will only show the new remstar pro 2 and it said it is better now than the pro because it shows snoring also. I thought with typing in the old machine I had woul...

Remstar Pro 2 - Just bought this from cpap.com and am mad

I just bought the remstar pro 2 from cpap.com for $540.00 thinking it was the updated version of my remstar pro m I was renting. When I tried to find my ahi and leak percentage on the LED screen, I couldn't figure out how to do it. I called cpap.com and they called respironics and respironics told c...

Comfort Sleeve-Kathleen-Has anybody talked to her since Sept

I posted a note earlier about waiting for a hose cover from Kathleen at Comfortsleeve. A few of you said that you were happy with your order and give her a chance. I have emailed her over and over again and no response. I have waited three months for my order now. Does anybody know if she is still o...

Thank you for that report. Is it possible for you to do the link about OSA and children with ADD that was supposed to be reported the next day?
Thank you again.

Room Humidifier and Stuffed Up Nose

I have turned my cpap humidifier down to 2 as I noticed that I was stuffed up more at a higher number. Now I am having bloody noses in the morning and I am wondering if buying a room humidifier will help my bloody noses and not contribute to my stuffiness. Has anyone had any experience with this? Ju...

I'm having an endoscopy next week to have my esophagus stretched because of scar tissue (shotsky's ring). I told them about my sleep apnea and they didn't sound concerned since I won't be put under general anesthesia. The sedation does make me unaware of what is going on, so still concerned whether ...

Does Raising Head of Bed Lower AHI's

About a week to two weeks ago, we raised the head of the bed 4 inches to help my GERD according to the doctor. I just got my last week's data printed out from DME where it says my AHI's only registered 1.00 or below, even having some 0 obstructive apneas nights. Always before that I had average AHI'...

I have severe GERD also and am on two medications. I also developed Shotsky's Ring (scar tissue in a circle aroung my esophagus from the reflux) where food gets stuck all the time. I go about once a year to have it stretched, which I am going in a couple of weeks again. One thing we did recently was...

Has anyone ordered a hose cover from comfortsleeve?

I ordered a hose cover in September from comfortsleeve after hearing about someone talk about it on this site. She cashed the check in September, emailed me and said it would be within two weeks that I would receive it due to her moving business out of home. I emailed her two weeks ago to ask about ...

Jim (Goofproof)-Sorry to hear about your defibillator wires. Why don't they replace the entire unit? My husband has a defibillator/pacemaker where the batteries are going low, so it probably won't be long until they replace the entire unit. I know he needs this unit to save his life. It already has ...

Can Cpap cause pneumonia?

My doctor said I caught it from someone when I had pneumonia a while back, but has anyone got pneumonia after starting cpap. I have never had it before in my life (55 years old).

With all the moisturized air being blown in your lungs, could it be that it was putting fluid in my lungs?

Thanks.

A lot of people in our area, Toledo, Ohio, go with Paramount Elite. I signed my parents up for that but did a different medicare D company for their drugs. You can go to medicare.gov/ to find out the best company to go through for the drugs. You can also go with Paramount Elite for both the medical ...
