Here's one of my favorite episodes of VSS:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MN_G7ryiqEg

BTW, notice how everyone in the videos finds what's happening to be hilarious even though they're the object of the gag?

Wonder what would happen if someone tried some of those things here in the states?

That is hilarious.

I just recently discovered all the awesome Verstehen Sie Spass videos on YouTube.

I know just enough German to be a good tourist but I'm learning more and more as I watch those - and laugh my @$$ off!

Thanks for sharing one that I haven't seen yet.

Talk to you local medical supply and/or pharmacy.

Ask them about silicone lubricant used for prosthetic eyes. It is polydimethylsiloxane which is what you want. It shouldn't be too terribly expensive since those who wear ocular prostheses have to use the stuff daily and it's over the counter.

I would also suggest a silicone based lubricant since they are safe for rubber and plastics. However, I would be very cautious even about using something silicone based as almost all lubricants are going to have some type of petroleum/synthetic base and many of them, regardless of how safe they are ...

Totally OT, but have you seen the video of Paul Potts, the British cellular salesman, from Britain's Got Talent (better, classier UK version of American Idol)? He perfroms Nessun Dorma and it will give you have goose bumps! Needless to say, he won the competition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1k0...

Kevin,

That's amazing that you were able to play for him. Did you accompany him in his singing or actually perfrom for him? Not that it matters much one way or the other; that is truly a remarkable memory.

I should have emphasized the point about the site using claims like "clearly established" "definitely" etc. I certainly don't disagree that light pollution in any form can affect our circadian rhythm but the site was singling out blue LED's with nothing concrete to back it up. They are basically imp...

I am most certainly NOT anti-farmer - I come from a long farming tradition. I do wish for more sustainable methods, however, that could both benefit the earth AND the farmer financially. I certainly don't have the answers, I'm still seeking input. Barbara - formerly of Kingfisher, OK DING, DING, DI...

Yes, our eyes are definitely more sensitive to the green-blue end of the visible spectrum but the fact that blue lights are causing sleeping problems, melatonin deficiencies, and immunosuppression are full on bunk. The site refers to IDA as being the source of the idea that blue light affects sleep....

The only thing that people don't seem to understand is that we as humans have genetically modified food since the first hunter/gatherers learned that they could save the seeds of plants and cultivate them over and over. The seeds that they planted that produced good offspring were chosen over those ...

Was the smart card symbol flashing?

The second night I had mine it did the same and it was because the smart card needed to be pulled and re-seated. If the alarm goes off again, try pulling the card and putting it back in.

You may want to ask your MD for a referral to a neurologist.

Constant twitching of any type can be an indicator of many different things.

Have you had your thyroid checked recently? With the fatigue you still feel along with the twitching, it may be a good place to start.

I apologize if the humor is inappropriate but when I first looked at the tile of your post, I saw torn NOSE.

I was amazed that you would think to duct tape it rather than use a band-aid.

Nevertheless, thank for the unintentional humor for me this morning.

I have always had issues with Nancy Grace.

She is really an ignorant person and refuses to acknowledge her mistakes/errors.

I have used words to describe her before that aren't necessarily public posting material.

This is just one more piece of evidence to prove her ignorance.
