Re: CMS 50D+ no USB connection win10 "device not found"
Windows 10 is notorious for breaking old serial-to-USB drivers. You probably need to manually install the older PL2303 driver version because the new ones usually block "prolific" chips that aren't authenticated.

Re: Considering Using CBD Gummies
I know this is a bit of an older post, but adjusting to a CPAP mask still takes time. 4 hours isn't a bad start for a new user. Gummies might help you drift off, but for staying asleep with the gear on, a proper medical consultation is better. I use a prescription oil with an mct base for my insomni...

Re: Help with selling a zero hour CPAP machine
Selling these can be tricky because most major marketplaces like eBay or Facebook block medical device listings. Your best bet is to look for private forums or specific second-hand sites that deal with sleep apnea gear. Zero hours is a huge selling point though.

Re: Oximeters: Junk or Not?
Most of the cheap ones are definitely hit or miss with durability. If you want something reliable, you usually have to pay a bit more for a medical-grade version rather than the basic consumer ones. They're mostly useful for seeing if your oxygen is actually dropping when you think your mask is leak...

Re: Weight loss drug trial claiming to reduce Sleep Apnea. Hmmm?
Weight loss usually does help with AHI levels, so the study results make sense on paper. I’ve seen people manage to get off their CPAP after losing significant weight, but the gastro side effects can be a trade-off. It's actually why a lot of folks are looking into Ozempic Lawsuits lately because th...

Re: CMS 50D+ no USB connection win10 "device not found"
I would try the latest version 1.5. I just fixed mine 2 nights ago as I was having sleep trouble and wanted to check the o2 and total time. It fixed mine as I tried to use the install disc and I guess its just too old.

Re: CMS 50D+ no USB connection win10 "device not found"
Did you ever get a solution to this?? I Have a Win10 laptop and just installed the drivers from the link above, and still the same "Device not found" result. Works on my old Vista box, and I have the correct cable that came with it. Unclear if the OP ever got it working with Win 10. TIA JH fixed wi...

Re: Plugged Nose with Nasal Mask
i used res med mirage nasal mask for years as nasal mask of choice but I have been getting swollen passages for quite awhile. It took me awhile to get to the bottom of it. everyone said it was all about the humidifier. Not my case. If I sit up I clear up. If I lay down I get swollen, So I tried the ...

Re: How often do you clean your equipment?
I used to be a wash my mask once a week in dish soap and water plus the hose gets a flush But i slack off. I do sun am and let it dry on towel rack. The water humidifier needs cleaning as well as it builds some scum. I know I need to clean mask when the skin oils make it leak. I can milk the hoses a...

Nasal Pillow recommendations
I now use a ResMed Swift™ FX nasal pillow and it seems to work better for my swollen nasal passages at night. https://www.cpapdirect.com/img/e93f/http-wwwresmedialibrarycom-library-wp-content-uploads-2011-09-swift-fx-exploded-viewprint_jpg_egdetail.jpg The only problem I have is that the head gear s...
