Hmm, strange. Maybe if I wash the headgear every couple of days it won't stretch too much. Apria DID include all three insert sizes. Yesterday I tried the small and that seemed to help with the eye leaks. I think overall it fit better last night (using the chin-first method suggested here) although ...

I know for me it is that forehead pressure that I couldn't deal with. The pressure was transferred when side sleeping. I doubt it was the headgear the was doing giving you headaches, but so be it. Well, of course, it's hard to say. The forehead pieces on both have been fine for me. The back of the ...

Thanks, for your guesses and suggestions, GumbyCT--yeah, I don't THINK my head is freakishly shaped, but perhaps it is! I'll try putting it on as you described. Using the ResMed headgear wouldn't work, since it was the headgear that was causing the migraines. I'm using an APAP. I don't remember the ...

Fisher-Paykel FFM Flexifit 431: Headgear problem

So I finally got my prescribed Fisher-Paykel FFM from Apria. My doctor suggested that it might be more comfortable than my Mirage Quattro, which seemed to be triggering migraines from the pressure of the headgear on the back of my head. Of course, my local Apria doesn't bother to do any kind of fitt...

Apria, at least in Northern California, is just absolutely awful. If you can use ANYONE else, please do! No attention to patients, no advice, no service, no apologies--and the office I usually have to go to is just a pit. The one time they did bother fitting me for something, it took a total of abou...

Can I "thread hijack"? I just got a Quattro, used it for the first time last night, and it leaks into my eyes (at the top of my nose) like crazy. It's very annoying. I wonder if they should have given me a small...I tried loosening and tightening, and the only thing that worked was tightening the to...

I have a regular old Comfort Gel, but I seem to have argued it into fitting nicely, somehow.

And thanks!

I guess I was lucky in that it was diagnosed after we were married, so no worries there. When I need to stay with a colleague at a conference, though, I just write them an e-mail or tell them about it and explain the details. So far, EVERYONE I have talked to has had another friend or family member ...

(The usual) help interpreting my data!

Hi-- I've finally run EncorePro for the first time. I got ahold of it a while back (thanks to some kindly souls) but I wasn't able to install it right away. I have data from 6/17-8/2, minus a few days when the card got misplaced. EncorePro Analyzer does not seem to work for me. I'd love some help in...

I just got back from a trip and got checked as usual. No big deal. I see a lot of CPAP machines going through, though I think so far I'm the youngest person I've seen with one (I'm 29). Though I think on the last trip, copies of the 7th Harry Potter book outnumbered CPAPs by quite a lot. I was hopin...
